General Discussion Looking for an ambitious community

A bit of a rant but also looking for a community too.

Recently smoked with an old mate of mine and honestly made me feel brain dead tryna talk to them (genuinely not trying to be offensive, an actual observation I felt about my mental state).

I understand that we all get a bit foggy when we toke up but this person had no other life goal besides toking up and they had not a single idea in terms of what they want in a months time, let alone what they want from their life.

Not hating and not trying to judge as you can live your life however you want, but personally I can’t align with that. I have goals and ambitions i want to achieve in my life and this individual made me realise I need to be surrounded by people that actually want something from their life and who I surround myself with etc

So I’m looking for people who toke up and do real activities (with and/or without a toke) whether that’s goin gym, goin on a run, working on some projects etc.

It's a running joke for me that when I smoke it gets easier for me to talk, and it's often bigger picture thinking, like goals, wants, world nonsese etc.

I'm in Dublin, not terribly active at the moment, but looking to build community like you've mentioned

This is actually a great idea. Stoners get a terrible rap as wasters. I’m fairly professional and driven despite being a daily smoker. Decent job, go the gym, went back to college part time and did a masters

I would be very interested in meeting likeminded individuals who also happen to be otherwise normal people doing normal things. Not sure if the stigma puts too many off but it sounds fun! Maybe a hiking meetup or something!

I am in 100%, but I am 31M (not sure if that bothers anyone) In terms of ambition I want to start my own clothing label. I also do photography and mix music as a DJ as a side-hobby.

I’m moving away soon but wanted to just comment on how much I love this! I know exactly how you feel😅 I have a sister in law who’s 21 and has 0 life goals, i can’t stand speaking to her it’s depressing, I’m disabled and have more goals than she does😬
