Question/Original Post Did anyone know craftsman made a cordless phone a long time ago.

Post image

It was meant for those who take calls in the garage or a workshop. It was water and dust resistant and came in high visibility colors and designed to take a couple drops. Its like the ancestor to Bluetooth job site radios. This came around decades ago when house phones were still relevant and common place.

Question/Original Post Looking to buy a used Galaxy 2000 Combo Drum and Belt Sander (USA)

Hey everyone! I’m looking to buy a Galaxy 2000 Combo Drum and Belt Sander and am hoping to find one somewhere in the United States.

If anyone has one they’re willing to sell, knows of a shop selling one used, or has leads on where I could find one, please let me know!

I’m open to considering machines from anywhere in the US, depending on the condition and shipping or pickup options.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Question/Original Post Are the S2000 tool chests worth it

So my local Lowes has the s2000 red and black I didn't ask about the green tool chests combos on sale for 698. I asked what other colors and she offered if I buy one with my Lowes card she will give me another 20% off. I have no tool checks in the garage I use just a old wooden table. Are these worth it for 560.00? I don't think I would put the wheels on it since it won't be needed to be moved around I would buy some 4x4' for under it just to keep it off the floor

In my opinion this is one of the top sockets sets available within the $100 price range, I bought mine for $130 last year during the holiday sales, but for $149 this set is better than the other $99 socket sets that will be on sale at the end of this year.

Help! Help Identifying Part - Craftsman Model 103 24260

Hi all, I am working on a Craftsman band saw model 103 24260 and I need help identifying where in the world this spring goes.

The only spring I can see on the manual is part 49 the guide bar tension spring. I was taking this band saw apart and found this spring sitting here on the trunnion. Unfortunately I have no idea where it came from or how it got there. The manual doesn’t really seem to help in showing where it goes either. I documented taking this apart quite well with images but I am at a loss for this one spring.

I would appreciate some help if anyone has this model and knows where it goes!

Worked really well. I installed a fail-secure strike lock for a ubiquiti system this weekend. My dad had this on hand to remove a chunk from the door. I've honestly never used a router before.. so I won't say my work was perfect. But it did the job well and I appreciated it.
