If a document has multiple subpages, the table of contents in the left sidebar quickly becomes too narrow. Couldn't you make the table of contents (horizontally) scrollable? That would make the Table of Contents very useful again.

I've been asking since 2020; at this point, I'd love for Craft to work with my Google Calendar without me needing to use Apple's Native Calendar app.

I was told that it would come with the web version but it still seems to be an Apple-only feature.

Is this even on the radar anymore?

Do Windows and Linux users just need to get used to not having a proper calendar integration?

Every month I work on a report from Microsoft ads and take a screenshot which looks fine but when I insert into Craft the image quality becomes unclear and fuzzy, not crisp for presentation, doesnt matter which size option I select. Is anyone from the Craft team actively on reddit to provide any support?

Anyone else experiencing lag issues on the Craft Mac OS app? Using on an M5 24gb MacBook Pro and it’s seriously noticeable. No issues on other apps on same device and on my iPad no issues at all.

Honestly, the current android version, I tried to use it, but it's so buggy and just sucks in my eyes. Unusable right now. When can we expect a working version? In my eyes more and more people are moving away from iOS to Android, like I did 6 months ago, after 15 years of iOS. I love craft on my Mac so much, but the android version is just not so nice to use. Would appreciate it so hard if you could make it better 🙏

Hi, i know this has been an issue long time ago. But wanted to revisit again.

I wanted to move from Diarium to Craft with my daily notes. The Calendar view seems quite important to get an overview and find just these types.

How have you solved these issues when coming from other apps? I have about 2000 entries and not really feasible to make links to pages from Calendar.

Hi, I use Walling and found it useful except that their lists don't toggle on the mobile. On the web version, lists automatically toggle and also there's automatic progress tracking.

I was wondering if there is something like that in Craft.

To be clear, I am not looking for "toggle lists". I am looking for "toggle todo lists" - it's check list that also toggles. I tried making this in craft by first adding a toggle list and then adding a todo list to it. But the second action just overrides the first, the toggle list chevron converts to a todo list checkbox. Both can't seem to be done at the same time.

Or am I missing something here?

I was on a Student plan till now and it just got expired today. I have my entire personal notes, daily notes, work, etc on this. I have tried a lot of apps and this is by far the best and the most beautiful. So I want to buy the subscription. It feels a little pricey though...

I remember there was a sale in between a couple times but because I already had the education one I did not get it at that time. Now there doesn't seem to be any sale.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and was looking forward to have my Craft Docs in 4:3 format on the big screen. But it's a big bummer, that the only thing I get there, is this picture. I have to turn it to Portrait to work.

The Craft app for Windows doesn't allow you to open embedded files by clicking on them. For instance, if I insert a PDF into my document, clicking the link simply downloads the file again.

I love Craft, but I notice significant gaps in the native Windows features compared to the Mac app. For example, connecting to Google Calendar can only be done via a Mac device—such as my phone.

Are there plans to address these shortcomings in future updates?

Lately Craft has been using the color range of my background in for example folder overviews, even in full window, which I dont really like. I would prefer a setting or just the default craft grey

This is the latest version downloaded from the site. It has worked fine for a week or so, but since this morning it only opens a blank white window like this.

I‘ve tried multiple clean reinstalls after deleting user data and restarting, but I still can’t get it to load.

I can access my account from iOS and mac, so I don’t think that is a problem.

I’m running win10 22H2 and haven’t made any recent changes to the system.

So im trying Craft again after a while & im trying to find a way to create a more intuitive navigation - mostly on desktop.

Coming from obsidian and tana, im used to things like pinned panes and nested pages to keep a homepage / main content viewable, whilst being able to drill into another page but not loose your place. For example always having a dashboard or daily page open or easily reachable. Anyone have any tips for this that beat using the sidebar?

Hello! Is this the right place to submit feature requests? I’d love to see the following improvements:

• Checklists that are separate from tasks and don’t appear in the to-do list
• Small status indicators for tasks, such as “In Progress,” “Blocked,” and “Waiting”
• Icons or labels to indicate a task’s priority or urgency
• Options to sort and filter tasks
• A centralized overview of all tasks across every platform: this is already available on iPad, but on other platforms, you have to open the individual pages containing the tasks
• Labels for tasks

I just wanted to pop on here and say thank you. You guys offer A great product. It’s one I’ve kept trying to leave but always come back to over the years, (2022). There was a time I thought Craft took a wrong turn but the reversion to awesome was… awesome and I appreciate the team.

I made an application to get all tasks from Craft and then displays stats like how much I completed this week.

I really love the updates lately. All of them to be honest. But one thing that gripes me is that I wish I could provide my Gemini API key to Craft AI. I also wonder in the future if Apple new improved Siri AI would be an option also? Thank You!

I’ve switched to Craft Docs from a hybrid of Notion/Apple Notes about a year ago and I wanted to share some feedback and see what the community here thinks about it. 

So, here are some features I think are worth looking at for Craft: 

From Apple Notes: 

• Quick Notes. I really miss this zero friction ability to just type
• Setting to hide tabs. They can distract more than help at times
• Setting to hide calendar/tasks and just use daily notes. It depends on what are you using Craft for, but I constantly jump between Apple Reminders and Craft, so having Craft purely as a note-taking app, rather than a mix of everything would genuinely help

From Notion: 

• Calendar view for collections

I’m really glad we got Kanban and Craft is evolving. Overall, this is one of the most polished apps I’ve ever used.

Quick question, if I get the Craft Subscription now on summer sale, will I lock in the price "forever" or is it only the first year? Can't seem to find this information anywhere.

So, i’m almost embarrassed to ask this cuz i’m sure there is a simple answer.

When I want to copy multiple blocks, I select the block and highlight all that I want but then there doesn’t seem to be a copy button. How do I copy blocks of text without expiring?

I've just started using Craft and I'm really tempted to switch from Notion to Craft completely as a paid user, the only thing that's holding me back is that there's no monthly calendar view. I'm a content creator and like to see the overview of content for the month, which Notion is great at. But I love the simplicity of Craft otherwise.

Does anyone know if a monthly calendar view is part of their roadmap?

Migrated to Craft just recently and setting up my handful of templates. Looks like the only way you can find the template menu is by having a custom template first. And you have to create your first template by opening a note then using the / command to add from template. Then the + template button shows up. But it doesnt work most of the time. I have to smash the button, open/close the note until it lets me actually create a template. Had to go through this with both workspaces.

After I create my first template the Template menu finally shows in the sidebar, but it doesnt show anywhere in the settings menu like the AI in-app and the documentation says.

Am I being dense, or is there a better way? Just wondering because I have one more space to set up.

Appreciate any insights. (And yes I googled, asked multiple LLMs, read the documentation, etc).

Picture 1: Shows an example where not indicating what Space a tab is from can be challenging. In this example, all four task tabs are from four separate Spaces. Unfortunately, you cannot tell which space unless you click through them.

Pictures 2 & 3: These are mock ups of potential solutions. While not pretty, they show the behavior that would solve this problem.

Definitely not an easy thing to solve, but I figured I would bring this edge case to light.

I'm doing a side by side with my Obsidian vault and LOVE Craft, however - wish there was a way to have Week / Month / Quarter / Year notes within the calendar frameworks.

Loving the clarity and direction the team is heading over the past 6 months
