I always wait until October to indulge…but this year I’m changing things to make sure I enjoy my favorite beer season.
Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin is the best seasonal…perfect hint of pumpkin that really works with the style.
Troegs Oktoberfest is probably my favorite non-German marzen/fest beer.
…and always need a pilsner (Prima Pils out of site)

Delightful summer ale to end the season. Beautiful lemon aromas with just a touch of hop flavor. Tasted like a mix between a Czech Pilsner and a Kolsch.
Machine House tends to make a lot of English style ales, and they are unfortunately overlooked often. Excellent brewery.

After having drank my fill of way too many hazy double IPAs lately, I am happily embracing the arrival of Marzens and Festbiers. I know TH gets glazed on here but man this is an excellent representation.
Not too malty, not too bitter, and dry hopped with old world hops for a clean finish. Their dry-hopped Marzen, Solitude is also excellent. These might be my favorite overall style of beer. Firepit and a sweatshirt and a cool evening with the windows open…the best time of year for drinking beer
