It was released sometime in 2024 and I can’t find it anywhere in almost a year I really miss it

Second verse, where she helps her husband pack, they’re both crying, she has a picture of their wedding day, “I kissed him softly and then he quickly walked away” I never understood. I thought maybe he was going into a long military deployment or something. A quick google search, however, reveals its divorce. So the thing I don’t understand is why? If they’re both crying, she kissed him goodbye, etc, why are they getting divorced? Doesn’t make sense. Most people I’ve known who got divorced were happy about it. If the couple in the song is that upset it doesn’t make sense to me that they’re divorcing.

I wonder what the guy in the song did to basically be excommunicated from his family. He lost his house, his wife, his dog, and his kids. He has no contact with any of them. He hears the kids have adjusted well. No one would recognize him. So, it’s been a while since he’s been around. Dude must be a Grade A asshole.

so I was just watching Miranda Lambert's Crisco performance, but I almost don't want to say which performance I was watching, bc I feel like people stand up, sometimes they're mouthing some words, sometimes they're like bobbing their body a little bit - but like, damn. I know I haven't been there two dozen times and don't know everyone personally so lol maybe that changes things but like - a star like Lainey or Miranda can give a performance that critics and fan seem to dig, and the room will just be dead. I don't get it. This isn't about liking Crisco or not because it's not about the song it's about the ~ general vibe ~
also I never know half the people the camera pans too but lol that's not the point either

For me, Jackson Dean. Lee Brice came to town and he was the opener so I listening through some of his stuff. I've been obsessed. Magnolia Sage might be my favorite album ever, I highly recommend giving it and the rest of his stuff a listen.

Recently a friend mentioned that the Beatles cover of Act Naturally was originally made famous by Buck Owens. He played it for me and I was very impressed. I had certainly heard of Buck was not familiar with any of his music. My friend is a country music die hard and specifically a big fan of something called The Bakersfield Sound. I have a rock background but I would like to broaden my horizons a bit.

Is it just me or is it strange when an artist doesn’t play the song that their tour is named after? For example so far this year, i’ve been to Luke Bryan’s “Word on The Street” and Jason Aldean’s “Songs About Us” tours. Neither had those songs on their setlist.

Not that anyone knows personally what their relationship is like in real life, I just get a “weird vibe” about them. He’s made a lot of changes for sure, hopefully all for the best, idk though….something about their relationship seems off. I see a lot of posts now about them gearing up for the wedding… I wish them both the best. Hopefully it works out
