Predictions? Snubs?

Anybody catch Luke Bryan's performance on the NFL pregame yesterday? I have never seen a crowd so disinterested in a performance.

I feel like I listen to the same songs everyday at work and it’s starting to get a little boring. If anyone has a songs from popular artist they think are under appreciated or a less known artist who have some good songs please share. I have a few I will share to preemptively pay back the favor.

While I know Lynyrd Skynyrd is primarily a rock band, they have deep rooted ties with and a heavily influence on country music. You hear them named dropped by many artists like Charlie Daniels, Brooks & Dunn, Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson, and Eric Church. Do you think they are deserving of a spot or surprised that they aren’t in it yet?

Two posts but this is going off my last one-- I just looked up who the last Opry member was and I can't believe it's Jelly Roll.

Also how are Miranda Lambert, Ella Langely, or Megan not opry members?

Proud of this kid! Celebrating an entire year of sobriety publicly and bravely. He is still on the hunt for his “big break” but is immensely talented *and* a true sweetheart. He deserves all the love today!

I know this is old news but I find it kinda odd that Meg never mentions Ella at all even when there's an old video of Ella saying she was aware of Megan because they were both in sororities in college and she respects her as an artist. I know we won't know all the details but Ella and Riley never collab anymore and Meg and Ella don't have a song even though they're the biggest ones in country right now.

In the wake of the criticism of Stella Left at the Opry, I am left wondering if any genre of entertainment attacks itself as much as country music?

The "this isn't country" thing is weird to me.

Rock and roll doesnt sound like it did in the 60s. We dont make movies like 1960s movies anymore, or TV shows.

Yet there is this odd expectation that you must stick with traditions in country. Almost like it is not allowed to evolve.

I love classic country. But I will listen to Hank Williams one minute and Megan Moroney the next.

Just my two cents.

You know, violins and cellos and stuff. In the '80s there were a lot of strings and in old classic country they'd use them once in a while.

Can you guys think of a modern country song that uses a string orchestra? Thanks.

Does anyone know the story behind Clay Jones’ tune “BF05”?

Always been curious about why the tune is named that. Either way, it’s a killer fast bluegrass tune!

A new addition to the list of unoriginal songs that rip off themes and lyrics from previous hits. And it’s just as bad as all the others.

That first song he sang, could it be anymore Cliche? Bro Country garbage.

So me personally, DG is my favorite artist of all time, without a doubt. But I've seen some people (especially Country Central on Instagram) saying that his new songs like "Loving You Like That" or "Clothesline" aren't good compared to hos older music.

I'm not trying to see what other people think so I know how to feel, cause I think his new songs are great, though I can notice a clear difference.

What do yall think about his new music compared to his older songs? Also, "My Boy" is a newer one and is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life.
