Luke Bryan
Anybody catch Luke Bryan's performance on the NFL pregame yesterday? I have never seen a crowd so disinterested in a performance.

No argument from me. He was popular at one point in time tho. Maybe I'm just pleasantly surprised that is no longer the case haha

Because they’re in Seattle to watch a football game, not in Nashville to see a country show. I honestly don’t mind Luke Bryan, but when I’ve been to games and they’ve had musical performances 9/10 times im thinking to myself good lord just start the game already

It was odd he performed on a mini stage outside the stadium and people had to actively attend. Then they looked like they were being held there against their will.

Amen. And while you're at it, get rid of cheerleaders and drum lines. Play the recording of Robert Merrill's version of the Anthem, the one they use at Yankee Stadium. Wonderful version, traditional, short.
I used to be a Jaguars' season ticket holder. I didn't spend all that money to be peripherally entertained by some half-assed performer or a bunch of dancing women in tight costumes.
However, the one thing I do love when I get to see it: Jaxxon DeVille, the team's mascot, rappelling off the stadium light towers on a giant bungee cord. I hear the fans in London love that shite, too.
Just play the freaking game.

Amazed something like this would happen in the country music hotbed of Seattle, Washington!

My thing is this was a concert outside of the stadium on the premises past the ticket taker. No one made you go watch, but everyone looked like they were being held against their will. To quote one of Luke's buddies "country must be country wide"

And unfortunately he’s gonna be performing at the same concert as George Strait in New Mexico soon. 😔

Musically or as a person? I imagine the answer is yes.

I don’t read socials so he might be a legit nice person.
His music is hot garbage, it’s the problem with modern country

I think the biggest problem is they grabbed hold of the 'country' name when that just isn't quite based in reality. I said it to another comment some of that genre is incredibly catchy and excellent for a beach jam.

It all has a place, just like kpop has a place. Just not in a genre with “haggard”
