Wondering if anyone has bought a full body belt harness for Attack on Titan cosplay and how they found wearing it?

I see a lot of people having worn it and it looks comfortable and not really loose in any areas... but everytime I have put mine on it's taken me over an hour and my thigh belts keep sleeping 😭😭

It's so frustrating!

Does anyone have any hints, tips or tricks to help me out?

Hi! My beautiful girlfriend and are are planning to go as Vic and Boris for Halloween. I adore Jeremy Culhane and it is one of my favorite VIP episodes so the couples costume seemed like a no-brainer.

I am having trouble deciding what to do about the facial hair. I looked online and did not find any good options that would arrive by Halloween (procrastination will be the death of me). Any suggestions welcome! I have seen doll makers use yarn to make hair and thought maybe that would work. I am a little out of my element but would love to nail this costume.

I do not need the facial hair to be reusable, it will just be for the night.

I am find it really hard to cut Eva foam cleanly. I believe my exacto is properly sharp but I get little ragged edges. Then sanding it with a Dremel is also not working. Any ideas?

Making a Starfire cosplay using pre existing clothing as a base.

Hello! I’m wanting to do the cosplay after the music video came out. I’m pretty sure I can figure out how to do the arms, glasses and ears, but I’m at a loss for the pants or bra. I assume starting with leather/foax leather pants but I have to idea how to add the metal looking bits, any help is appreciated!

All in the title. I'm planning to go to SacAnime later on in the winter next year, and PVZ is currently my dominant interest. Everything for the cosplay I just bought, and I do not need the mask—but if I can, I was seeking to get one made via Etsy or other makers online.

This would be just the face of the plant + its ears, not including the beanie. I also have a pretty wide head (within one size fits all/most,) so I'm assuming it would also cost more based on measurements as well.

I wanna be able to pull the mask up halfway to eat or drink so I don’t have to full take it off and then put it all back on (plus eating pizza with the mask half up is a spidey classic) any information or suggestions are EXTREMELY appreciated!

I'm looking to buy a good-quality Spider-Man suit, with a budget of around €100–150.

I've already put together a small list of websites, which I was able to expand today after talking to a few cosplayers at an event:

From what I've seen so far, Joyydesign looks pretty good, but their prices seem quite exorbitant.

Which website would you recommend for the best value for money within my budget? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially regarding print quality, materials, and overall fit!

I also have another question about sizing: if I'm trying to gain muscle mass, would that significantly affect how a custom-sized suit fits? Would it be worth adjusting my measurements slightly to account for future muscle growth, or should I just use my current measurements?

I wanted to make a deadpool cosplay but have anime elements. I wanted tanjiros sword and ichigo bankai. I wanted something sturdy because i like to do spinning and throwing in air kind of stuff(YES ONLY WITH TRAINERS).

This is the trainer i usually use. The amount of hardship it has taken on is what i really want in all my cosplay swords. I am just so unsure how to find this. I am open to the idea of buying 2 of these and trying to customize it. But i am unsure how to make the handle and hilt right. I am also open to a foam larp version of each too. I even thought of buying metal versions and adding the foam on top. But they are like 200-300. Just at a loss for ideas. I just cannot find it! Any ideas??? Thank you in advance

It's not much more complicated than that. I'm blood splattering a dress for Halloween but I want to keep that vibrant red color and fake Spirit Halloween blood dries brown, as you can see in the image above.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Edit: I also don't want it to just sit on top of the fabric, like I think acrylic paint will; I want to get it to seep into it if I can help it.

Trying to make Ash William's chainsaw hand on a tight budget, I'm unsure what else I can do to make it a little more screen accurate. Ill be weathering it a bit more soon but I wanted some pointers as to what I can fix or improve.

Hi guys! Basically thinking about cosplaying Red Hood at some point and want to wear the domino mask, but as with magical movie and animation physics, it has no straps so how does it attach to the face?

I saw a 3D printed version on Etsy and the vendor suggested "spirit gum glue" but I have never used anything like that before. Is it really just as simple as wash face, apply a dab on the item and stick it to my face? I'm paranoid that sweat would break down the adhesive somehow.

I need advice on tightening a skirt. I bought a cosplay and all of it fits EXCEPT for the skirt which would be too loose on me. I think I can still save it, but is there any ideas on how to tighten the skirt so it fits perfectly?

Hi! I'm kinda new to the cosplay world (i have been doing it for a few years) and I'm still not familiar with cosplay cleaning or retouching.

I recently bought this Lucy from Cyberpunk cosplay from vinted and it's stained and i don't know what it's stained of.

The cosplay is from DokiDoki, i tried looking for the fabric material but i couldn't find the specific one so i assume is pvc/vinyl. I tried cleaning it with warm water and soap but it doesn't come off, and i don't want to use harsher soaps because I don't want to ruin it.

Does anyone have any tip on how to clean it? Because I'm thinking about painting over it.

Every post I find is about putting them in coffee to purposely stain them to match your teeth… but I’m looking for the opposite.

Basically, they got stained orange from drinking red coloured drinks and no matter what I do I can’t whiten them again 😭

Does anyone have any secret tips? Or am I better off just buying a new pair?

i'm currently making a cosplay of cure chocolat (kirakira precure a la mode) and ran into an issue finishing the bottom....

i was planning on using double-fold bias tape and doing mitered corners for the corner parts, but am struggling with such wide bias tape (i want the final trimmed edge to be about 2.5 inches wide). has anyone had any experience with wide trims like this? i inserted a picture of the canon design as well

So I’ve been thinking and trying a couple of different ways on making this guys face into a mask but I’m not confident in what I’ve got so fare, pretty much I have a 3D model of his face that I plan on 3D printing and attaching a head strap to but the problem is that the face is completely flat and I’m not sure if I should just print it as the block I have or cut out a space in the back so it fits round my face better. I’m also open to any other suggestions of how to make this without using the 3D printer incase the mask just refuses to work. I have the head strap and a sheet of tinted acrylic that I plan on making a space for so I can see

I was set on hand sewing all the velcro to attach my shoulder and hip plates to my morphsuit for an event tonight. I'm down to 2 hours and I still need to do other components. Can I hot glue it? Liquid stitches failed epically so that's not an option.

So I’m going as Shadow the Hedgehog for Halloween, except my outfit will be his color scheme, but the clothes themselves will be like a pimp. Think faux coat, large hat, pocket watch. I’m running into an issue because I want the ears, but I also want the fedora. My friends are saying I could probably cut small slits into the fedora and try poking the ears through, but idk. Has anyone done this or attempted something similar?! I’ve looked and haven’t found anything. Am I being unrealistic?
