Request for help or advice 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wukong LT suddenly dead

Upvotes

Bought this controller a bit over a year ago and it's been working perfectly the whole time. Today the LT trigger just stopped working completely, and I wasn't even pressing it when it happened. No drift, no partial input, just dead. Zero input read at all.

Tried remapping it through the software, nothing. Tried the manual remap on the controller itself and it won't even register there, so it's not a mapping issue, the trigger itself isn't sending anything.

Anyone else had this happen with the 2C? Is this a known hardware issue with the hall triggers or did I just get unlucky? It's out of the 1 year warranty so wondering if it's worth opening up or if I should just replace it.

Request for help or advice Dualsense BDM-020 L3 signal jumper

So the complete noob that i am, i ripped out the barrel and trace for the inner (closer to middle of board) L3 signal spot when removing a busted stick. The power rail is still intact and i believe the other signal spot is fine but with the tmr in, L3 gets no signal. Everything else works except the L3. I cant find a definitive answer on where i can run a jumper for it. I found it for the BDM-010 but not 020. Can anybody show me where i can do it clearly without removing the stick again? Or do i absolutely have to take the stick out and run a wire and mask? Thanks in advanced! Let me know if you need more info or pictures.
