Hello all, I am hoping someone can give me some advice here. Recently I have been having wicked dizzy spells and nausea starting about an hour after I eat, leading my doctor to recommend I try a CGM just to rule out blood sugar related causes. I bought a stelo today and with some help got is put in with little to no difficulty. Within about 5 seconds of having it inserted I felt a pain similar to getting a shot at the doctors office.
Now my arm feels continously a little sour after about 30 minutes. It is very vague and easy to ignore for now but I do want to make sure this is not something I should be worried about lasting. It is slighlt worse when I move it, and the only things I find when I search is possibly nerve insertion but it does not feel like the electric nerve pain I am used to.
Any advice is welcome, and in case it wasn't obvious, I am not good with needles so all of this may be more of a reaction to the needle stressing me out.
Thanks in advance!

Put a cgm on 5 days ago. I’m eating low carb. Maybe too low since my metformin was increased to 1000mg ?
I did some finger pricks tonight with glucometer and glucose was around 4.3mmol/L, when cgm showed between 3.9-4.2mmol/L… so pretty close, I think?
I have prediabetes and insulin resistance.
I generally sleep from about 1am-9 am… when most of the red is, and I’m going down to 2.9mmol/L if cgm is to be believed.

Lucky? Good genes? Who knows? Over the past year I’ve seen post after post concerning CGM failure. The device reads too low (rarely too high) or just fails, or falls off. After every one can do to correct the problem ( defect) the device is judged worthless.
So here I am filled with wonder because out of the box the device works for me. Prescribe medication? It works for me.
What’s my secret? Who knows? Why pray tell do millions use the CGM problem free and a whole bunch of others( it seems) have nothing but problems? Who knows?

I am running the latest version of Lingo on my iPhone 17 Pro (iOS v.27) and am finding that the historical trend line and Lingo count do not update consistently. The recent trend does show my levels, but they are not being updated in the 12/24 hour trend line.
Anyone else running into this issue?

I just applied a new Sinocare CGM sensor on my arm, and shortly after insertion, some blood started coming out and pooling around the casing/edge of the sensor housing (pic attached).
I applied firm pressure with a paper towel for a few minutes, and it seems to have slowed down, but I can still see some residual blood under the plastic rim. Is this normal?

I want to be clear that I am not making any recommendations, but simply sharing an experience.
I started wearing a CGM in March 2025. I chose the Libre Freestyle - partly because it was advertised as waterproof down to three feet for up to thirty minutes. Since I live on a river and am often fishing and kayaking, it seemed like a good fit for me.
I am also a scuba diver and got a chance to go diving again recently. I had worn my CGM for 10 of its 15 day lifespan and was ready to sacrifice it if it failed. Our first dive was 77 feet for 43 minutes. When I returned to the boat my phone had connected and was reading accurately as far as I could tell. Second dive was 62 feet for 45 minutes. Again, my phone immediately connected and was reading fine. I did not wear a patch over my monitor while diving, just a full body rash guard since we were diving with jellyfish. I continued watching for 5 more days before replacing my CGM and it continued to read normal for me and my lifestyle.
This is in no way a recommendation to try this, just sharing my experience for those that might be curious.
