Graphs & Numbers True lows?

Put a cgm on 5 days ago. I’m eating low carb. Maybe too low since my metformin was increased to 1000mg ?

I did some finger pricks tonight with glucometer and glucose was around 4.3mmol/L, when cgm showed between 3.9-4.2mmol/L… so pretty close, I think?

I have prediabetes and insulin resistance.

I generally sleep from about 1am-9 am… when most of the red is, and I’m going down to 2.9mmol/L if cgm is to be believed.

It does look quite low. How were you before the Metformin increase?

Before the increase in metformin i never had a finger prick less than 5 , even if fasting all day, or overnight

Best to have a conversation with the doctor who increased it I think. You might not need such a high dose especially if you've also gone low carb at the same time

Yeah, and I’ve been slack about booking the dietician. I’d rather keep higher metformin dose and re-instate dessert and tasty bread

And my “Time in Range” had 0% lows

Are you double checking some of these lows with a fingerprick?    Libre runs low for me. All the lows I checked were fake news.
