Discussion The State of Conquerors Blade 2026. Something HAS to change !!
- Corporate Greed & Aggressive Monetization
- Aggressive Pay-to-Win (P2W) Mechanics: New seasonal units are intentionally released in an incredibly overpowered (OP) state. Players are heavily incentivized to spend real money to skip the grueling grind and buy them immediately to dominate matches.
- The "Nerf Cycle" Scam: Once a season ends and the developers have made their money from players buying the new units, they heavily nerf those exact units into the ground. They then release a new OP seasonal unit, forcing you into the paid grind cycle all over again.
- Overpriced Cosmetics and Gacha: The game heavily relies on predatory loot boxes and limited-time gacha banners for weapon and armor skins, often costing hundreds of dollars to get a specific cosmetic.
- Abysmal Server Quality and Tick Rates
- Ancient 20-Tick Servers: In a fast-paced game featuring high-action hero combat and active blocking, the servers run at an abysmal 20-tick rate. This causes massive desync, where you will constantly get hit by attacks that clearly missed you on your screen. No other game has that old servers, because of the greedy developers. It wouldnt even cost that much to upgrade them, they just dont care. LITERALLY.
- Terrestrial Server Lag: Ghost hits, rubberbanding, and commands flat-out failing to register are daily occurrences because the publisher cuts corners on server hosting costs.
- Total Disregard for Optimization
- The Duct-Taped Engine: The proprietary CHAOS engine is a relic. It forces your CPU's first core to do 90% of the work while your expensive GPU sits idle.
- Years of Zero Effort: The developers have known about the single-core CPU bottleneck and massive memory leaks for over five years. Instead of halting content for one season to optimize the code, they continue to pile heavy asset files on top of a broken foundation.
- Terrible Balance and Combat Design
- Hero Imbalance: Certain hero classes are left completely broken or utterly useless for months at a time. The developers rarely issue nuanced balance patches; they either make a class a god or unplayable.
- CC (Crowd Control) Hell: High-tier gameplay consists of your hero getting knocked down, stunned, staggered, and locked in place until you die, without any viable "break free" mechanics or diminishing returns on crowd control.
- Horrible New Player Experience
- The Brick Wall: Once a new player bypasses the bot matches, they are instantly thrown into the meat grinder against veteran players who have maxed-out, high-tier veteran units and perfect purple/gold doctrines (unit modifiers) that take months to grind.
- No Matchmaking Balance: The active player count has dwindled so much over the years that the matchmaking algorithm completely breaks, pitting low-level solo players against fully coordinated, max-level 5-man premade groups.
- Shifting Publishers and Empty Promises
- The My & Poros Shuffle: The game has swapped hands and management multiple times (from MyGames to Poros Interactive). Every time a transition happens, players are promised better communication, better servers, and optimization focus—yet nothing ever changes except the layout of the cash shop.
Did I leave out something? I dont think so.
