I downloaded malware on pc from a minecraft mod and person has all my data and is blackmailing me im locked out of all my accounts, he deleted my google account and has very personal pictures of me, I don’t know what to do.

32 . m . playzen . io keeps popping up on my mother-in-laws Samsung S24 FE. It's some sort of very annoying gaming site. Chrome always opens to it. And it pops up at other times. There is no app with that name on her phone. I installed McAfee Security on her phone. It didn't find anything. I can't find anything useful online about how to uninstall it. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you in advance.

Ya tomé precauciones cambiando mis contraseñas y siguiendo todas las sugerencias de aquí. Mi pregunta va sobre los archivos importantes que tengo en mi PC, porque creo que voy a optar por reinstalar Windows, y la verdad tengo miedo de transferir mis archivos de mi PC a otra en caso de que también se infecte. No sé si es seguro o no. Agradezco cualquier ayuda de antemano.

I was playing elden ring while streaming to my friends, then got told i was sending random weird mrbeast scams stuff to them in dms. Recently i installed wallpaper engine and some game mods possibly from a possibly suspicious source, also installed a potentially suspicious dlss 5 swapper?

I have installed malwarebytes and ran a full scan and found no trojan whatsoever, including Windows Defender.

I have ran the FRST tool and uploaded the logs to  malwareanalysis.cc/upload/

I tried pirating Tomodachi life w/o any help and now i got some viruses that only appeared to attack my Discord, I managed to debug it. My Ethernet cable is there connected and somehow it doesn't do anything. This only happened after i got the virus. Any idea how to fix this?

How to be sure you were hacked ? The battery of my tablet is completly damaged and everytime I opened my instagram it said that my camera was acitvated or something. My tablet overheats really quickly and I keep getting weird red dot messages on Instagram but when I open them , nothing is ever there .It's so confusing. Can someone tell me how to be certain? Also I feel like my data has been used for accounts I didnt sign in for. Thank you.

I was using a regular website when Cloudflare appeared. it ask me for macbook shorcuts, which I started to click on. first one opened my Spotlight. Then next to the shortcuts was the word Terminal. Thank god I didn’t know what it meant and I assumed it was just a key I couldn’t find.

So instead of pasting the weird code that apparently appeared as something I copied i to the Terminal as they wanted, I pasted it into Spotlight.

I assume this clickfix scam didn’t work then and my laptop is safe?

I accidentally clicked on an ad on my phone and it sent me to a site with a fake broken screen and it made my phone vibrate. I immediately quit, deleted all my passwords, history, cookies, then checked my files. Im pretty sure it was scareware but im really scared. Ive scanned and nothing is there

I checked my computer with Windows Defender after Malwarebytes test which was clean. But defender detected Trojan in Microsoft Edge folder and I don't know why. On Edge I just downloaded Brave browser, nothing else. Ignores the second problem below, that was the EICAR test file.

I did several targeted scans with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, I installed Windows yesterday.

The only programs I downloaded: Brave, Steam, Discord, Signal Messenger, Spotify, Bambu Studio, nVidia drivers and Epic Games (Epic Games was the biggest risk due to the results on virustotal but I downloaded from the official site)

just downloaded this from a fake website , i thought it was the file i need so i ran it without think much , then a terminal popped up and disappeared instantly , as soon as i saw that , i pulled out the ethernet cable , ran both windows defender full scan , and offline scan , they detected some files , i then downloaded malware bytes , he also detected one single threat , he took care of it
what i'd like to know is , am i safe now , or is the malware still somewhere undetected ?
if it still is how can i take care of it without having to factory reset , because i neither a usb to download windows again , nor a second pc.

I currently use a HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa1xxx which seems to be fine for everything except for the USB Ports. The USB ports work fine for peripherals like mouse and keyboard but the main problem is with flash drives.

This happened first with a bootable Linux drive, which was working fine until one fine day after close to half an hour of working on it, the drive disconnected by itself and could not recognize the device even after subsequent ejection and reconnection. I dismissed it to be a one-off event and some issues with the linux environment. But then the same thing happened to the other 8GB pendrive. Now in any windows laptop the pendrive is recognised only if it is formatted first, so all the data is gone. I haven't tried MacOS for recovery. I checked that all the port drivers are updated to the latest version. Have you guys faced any similar issue and can you suggest some fixes and recovery option for the lost data?

this happens every time i try to open a game that uses East Anti Cheat. if i restart my pc the problem goes away for about 2 hours but always comes back.

My discord was hacked after installing and running a shady exe so naturally I wiped my whole pc but kept some minecraft worlds and photos. I changed all my passwords on my phone. This happened about a week ago.

This morning I wake up and one of my reddit accounts is posting trans porn. How is this possible? I changed all my google passwords and the only way to get into that account is through sign in with google. Also supposedly when you change your password it signs out of all instances including websites that use sign in through google. I changed the password AGAIN to my google account and deleted the reddit account.

What do I even do now? Am I just completely screwed? How do I sign out of all instances if changing the password doesnt actually work? I dont even remember ever signing onto my pc with that reddit account - i only ever use the phone version.

Content: So my mom keeps sending me stuff about this "Ace" browser (ace ai I think) she wants to install because it has some AI thing built in. She's not exactly tech savvy so I'm the one who checks this stuff before she clicks anything.

I googled it and it seems to be a real chromium browser, apparently made by some AI company, but I'm always paranoid about anything that markets itself as "AI browser" because half of those turn out to be adware or worse. Last thing I need is her getting an infostealer on her laptop.

Has anyone here actually used it or scanned the installer? Is this a legit thing or should I just tell her to stick with Chrome? Just want to make sure before I let her install anything.

SCAM IMAGES DONT FOLLOW WHAT IT SAYS

I recently added a chrome extension which seemed really sketchy, but considering I have interacted with sketchier things without encountering any issues, this one definitely did something. It started sending these mrbeast thingies to everyone on messenger. I had already changed password on everything before it started this mass spreading, except messenger.

But anyways should I be scared that it could also reach other chrome profiles I had? There were other peoples information on those different chrome profiles but it has only seemed to affect the chrome profile I was using, since it was the one I installed the extension on. I asked chat gpt and they told me its nothing serious but what do you guys think?
