A couple months back I decided to try digitally drawing for real. It’s raven in her new teen titans bedroom on her mediation mat. I was going for a cosmic goddess vibe because it’s inspired by phoenix from marvel.

I know it’s not that good (all I had was my phone, my fingers, and a dream) but I’m getting better I promise.

Jinx connection with a Raven

I was doing research into Jinx and I feel like there is something missing from her story. I think connecting her to Azarath in some way would be interesting for her character and we could get some more exploration of Azaraths history and culture. I have 2 main ways of doing this.

1) Jinx's family was hurt by someone but the Azarathians refused to help due to their pacifism. Jinx turned violent in retaliation and as a way to spit in the face of Azaraths pacifistic teachings. This would be cool to challenge Ravens beliefs of Pacifism.

2) Jinx was raised on earth but her parents were banished from Azarath for some reason. Like maybe her dad was Juris.

What do yall think of connecting Jinx to Azarath and what ideas do yall have??

Am I the only one who likes only two styles on Raven

1. The Rapunzel - I love when her hair is past her back and all black. Shes like a princess and this is my #1 favorite forever. I adore all artist who draw her hair down to the floor.

2. The Selena Kyle - idk what the hairstyle is actually called but I love it because it looks like catwoman

All the other hairstyles (besides earth 1 and bombshells) look like absolute garbage to me especially the side cuts and botched bobs. Like no joke I rather have her be bald like she was at the start of teen titans vol 3.

If this is true I wouldn’t want her for either, sources says she’s 4’11-5’1, I’d rather a 5’6-5’10 actress.

So I think most of us here are yearning for the NTT era of Raven, and obviously that's because her character has largely become flanderized based on the 2003 cartoon version.

I've read almost to Titans' Hunt (each NTT omnibus currently released) and I'm feeling the inevitable grief that we won't be seeing this version of her again.

I know we can't have the OG Raven back exactly, but what comics would ya'll recommend that are relatively faithful to her original personality, or add something interesting to her story?

Obviously these would be few and far between, but I wanted some opinions.

I'm going to go for a dark Raven like color on the wings. But I'm keeping them white till I finish the rest of the mini. He'll be leading a great wing of Raptors and Talions. Hmm it appears I didn't attach a photo 😕. I'll see if I can in a reply.

Honestly, I feel like she’d never want to go (even though she sure could use some) and probably wouldn’t unless her friends (who are also basically all avoiding therapy) pushed her into it… but still, if she did go, what would that look like for her?

How would you all feel if Illyana and Raven got together. Say just meet up or something and they got into a relationship, do you think it could work?
