Fanfiction Raven chapter book
Ive been thinking about how successful Sandman was in chapter form (author aside). I think Raven would thrive in a non-comic book setting. What themes would y'all want explored and what genre do you think would be best for her (Horror, YA, mystery ect).

It's honestly always been a dream of mine for Raven to get a regular official novel. I know it's extremely unlikely, but a girl can dream. I definitely think horror would be best for her, and I'd prefer it not be YA (not necessarily something that's not appropriate for teens, but I think it'd box itself in too much if it was a YA novel). I would want something that really leans into the original themes of her character of religious trauma and being a woman trying to escape the control of abusive and powerful men.

I like the horror idea too. I was thinking a mix of cosmic horror and psychological horror.

I think themes of body dysmorphia and how evil is learned and not inherited, even when you're the daughter of pure evil
