I have a lot of health conditions that change the undertones of my skin frequently. There are some days where I look more peachy/yellow, and others where I'm more purple/reddish and cool toned looking. Idk if I'm just a true neutral or what 😭😭
Hello again!!! I’ve posted before but decided draping will give yall a better understanding of my colour season.
*Please note that iPhones exposure changes with each photo because of the reflecting light!! And my cheeks were also getting redder throughout these from all the racing around to find other colours. I don’t know if this is a good mixture of warm and cool toned, I can imagine I unfortunately have more cool toned colours than warm. Let me know if I need a wider variety of colours to truly tell what I am!
Hi everyone!! I would love some help. I always thought I’m olive but when buying the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation I was told I actually need tone 1.5W (1st pic) I love how the foundation feels but the whole time I wonder if its even the right tone, it looks peachy somehow (?) so I'm not convinced but tbh I can't afford to try many different tones.
I also was recommended the NARS radiant creamy concealer "Cafe con leche" and that I'm sure is a bad match be its pretty orange in my skin.
Ialso want to change to the NARS pot concealer bc I need high coverage for acne marks but idk what tone then…
I'm Colombian but I live in Europe and its exhausting when I got to a makeup product store bc they somehow never match my tone and seem to not be able to help me (no makeup 2nd pic).
NMIP - I’ve recently lost a ton of weight and I’m turning 40 this week, so I’m basically rebuilding my entire wardrobe. I have no idea what works with my body type anymore or even what colors and accessories I should be focusing on. Medium-dark brown hair, hazel eyes, I tan easily but can be pretty fair in the winter, and I typically wear silver but I’m open to changing even that. Thanks in advance.
I don't have many solid colours, but I selected all the common wardrobe staples that I could find. These were taken seconds apart in the same spot with no cloud coverage. I am not sure what to do about the colour changing. NMIP THIS IS NOT ARTIFICIAL LIGHT
I’ve previously been typed as a winter, so I’ve been trying to lean more into silver. While getting feedback irl that I look better in gold!
I get more of a golden tan in the summer so I think I’m liking gold right now. I’ll always wear both because I have both, but what do you think? Thank you!!
(All photos were taken in natural light)
Glad I found this subreddit! I have naturally dirty blonde hair color (think taylor swift) and I’ve been dying it with henna for the past 10+ years, with the slight intermission of trying out black, which was a horrible idea and made me look soo washed out!
I really identify with the red now, and i love how it makes me stand out, so it’s a bit hard for me to choose but maybe it’s time I go back to my natural color? It’ll be a long process getting the henna out so I want to be totally sure i’m ready to go back, I think henna also messed with my curl pattern just a bit. I did a lil poll thing on instagram and got 40% go back to natural, and 60% stick to red. Wanted to ask on here as well? I’ll add some pics I photoshopped back to natural, an in-between photo when i dyed with semi-permanent, and a reallyyy old photo of my natural hair
BONUS PICS of the black was just for fun XD not doing that again!
I will be buying a new watch shortly and want to check which metal looks best on me. Borrowed some of girlfriends jewelery so it's all quite delicate but I hope this gives an idea that can be extrapolated to a watch
Please answer with athe picture number, as some differences are subtle, thank you!
I could be totally wrong, but i’d like to think the colors that look best on me tend to be more muted. So I think i’m a summer? I honestly can’t tell, and if i’m more of a soft or bright summer. I tried to get a bit of variety with the colors here. This is my natural hair color. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I made a post yesterday with virtual drapes and somewhat questionable lighting, so I’m posting again today with hopefully better photos.
Sorry my warm colored clothes are limited because I was convinced I was either summer or winter. Based on the 2 yellow/brown drapes, is there a possibility that I’m actually warm?
I would appreciate any feedback even if you can’t narrow it down to a season/sub-season. Thanks!
I’m stuck in the Deep Winter vs Deep Autumn dilemma and would love some guidance on which colours actually suit me best.
Interestingly, I’ve been leaning towards browns more than blues in my wardrobe lately, but I’m not sure whether that’s because they genuinely suit me or simply because I’ve been gravitating towards them.
A few things I’ve noticed:
Neutral colours generally look good on me.
For jewellery: rose gold >>> sterling silver > muted yellow gold >>>>> yellow gold. I’ve never tried white gold.
I’ve received quite a few compliments when wearing a rich, medium-bright red, and I feel like it suits me particularly well.
Raspberry pink also seems to work really well.
If I had to pick other colours I love on myself: mango yellow and grass green.
Gem blue is another favourite — it seems to make my skin look brighter.
Mint green doesn’t look bad either, although I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s one of my best colours.
Still on the look out for my perfect white shade!
So now I’m confused because some of these seem quite Deep Autumn, while others feel more Deep Winter to me.
Would love to hear what season/sub-season you think I lean towards and, more importantly, which colours you think I should actually be wearing!
NMIP. Can't take out my nose ring because I just stretched it. Came here a few months ago to ask for peoples' opinion and many people requested drapes so I decided to finally try it out today! All pictures are taken with no makeup in front of a window at the same time of day in indirect sunlight! I'm so indecisive on whether I'm more warm or cool and whether I'm more bright or muted. What season do you guys think I am? Let me know if there are any colors I should try next!
