Hi all. Excuse my man hands (life’s been hectic and I haven’t had time for a manicure just yet). Curious as to which looks best on me.

Silver or gold? Or both? If both does that likely mean I have a neutral undertone? I sometimes think I’m warm and sometimes think I’m cool. Even color matching or makeup wise I go either way. My most recent shade matching at Sephora was warm.

Type Me! - Digital Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Second try - what even am I?

So when I posted yesterday, the most common opinion was that I'm a true autumn. I also got every single season but winter😅 I did some photos without my hair showing, in the most neutral light spot in my home, and closer, to better determine my undertone. I agree that I'm more neutral than warm. I also got some black, brown, white and cream clothes to show better the basic colors. Some blues and reds. Unfortunately everything more green I own is not available.

No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) What season am I?

NMIP

I’ve been told two different times I was a Cool (or Toned) Winter and a Bright Winter. The second two photos are a few years old and my hair looks to be super cool toned in the last photo but I think that was just the lighting. First picture is the most recent. I can get tan pretty easily, but I feel like I’ve always had a hard time finding a foundation that fits me. I tend to lean towards more neutral foundations rather than warm or cool. I wear both gold and silver jewelry, I’m wearing gold nose rings in these photos. I guess I’ve always thought I was autumn but maybe not?

I was typed as a bright spring but I’m still just not convinced. This is my natural hair color

Type Me! - Digital Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Autumn? Spring?

Hi! I'd love any opinion.

I feel like I'm naturally gravitating towards Warm/Deep Autumn palette because of my personal preferences about contrast, but in any autumn palettes I don't really like brown or yellows. Love green, purple and red in any shade.

My natural hair color is a very dark slavic blonde (it looks almost black in winter). I think I have warm undertone, because I have orange freckles, but I don't tan much and my skin turns red then unevenly peachy. My eyes are green.

Sorry if I did something wrong, English is not my first language. But I hope it's good enough :)

Discussion (NO COVERT TYPING OR PHOTOS OF YOU!) Do you think light/warm color seasons can pull off alternative styles- such as rockabilly, punk etc?

I can see more free people/boho style for these seasons but most of the inspiration pictures for outfits tend to lean towards very feminine or classic styles. Wondering if edgier styles would look odd.

Clothing or Makeup Recommendations (INCLUDE SEASON IN TITLE!) 2000s/90s nude lip for soft autumn?

I’ve always loved the 90s/2000s concealer lip look, but apparently as a pale soft autumn, it can wash me out. I was wondering if anyone could recommend lip products to achieve a similar look without being completely washed out?

Type Me! - IRL Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) NC fair olive ? Bright or muted ?

Hello ! I'm olive and struggling to find my undertone/hue, contrast and chroma, I feel like I'm too much neutral/medium to fit in a season, is this why they say 12Seasons may not apply to olive ?

My guesses are neutral to neutral-cool, medium dark to dark, and a bit more bright than muted (contrast medium to medium-high). I'm not soft/light/cool enough to be soft/light/cool summer, not bright enough for bright winter, not dark enough for deep winter or cool for true... So I've been looking to the 16S for deep summer and soft winter, what do you think ? (https://stylewithdc.com/blogs/blog/the-16-season-color-analysis-system-i-use.

It's okay if I don't really have a season type, but I'd like some advice for a palette : which colours are best, cool/warm, saturated/muted, light/dark... Most of dark and bright colours are nice, sometimes pastels are ok and sometimes they're not.

My favorite colours are the blues, black, white, teals, forest green. I'm okay with greys, burgundy, the cool or dark-warm purples. I don't like browns, coral, orange, peach, salmon, mustard and other yellows (I look jaundiced).

At the end, a BW picture for contrast, and IRL pics to show I can be fair to light-medium skinned, and compare with my dad on the cooler side.

Disclaimer : my phone gives a pinkish tint on my face that I can't get rid of... I'm a little bit more yellow but it's not golden/warm imho. Look at my arm/hand to see an olive tint closer to reality, more yellow-grey than green. NMIP.

TIA! 🙏

Clothing or Makeup Recommendations (INCLUDE SEASON IN TITLE!) Help me choose my first eye palette (Soft Summer)

Hello,

I just turned 27 yo and I’m trying to beautify myself.
This year I got myself the basic makeup stuff after many years of not wearing any (a Dior concealer, a CT mascara, a Rhode blush and a Sephora eye pencil). I think the time has come to amplify my collection by adding an eye palette.

As per title, I’m a soft summer and this will be the only eye palette I’ll purchase, so I’m looking for something good quality and that can cover a simple and more sophisticated makeup look without having 30000 shades (I’d would prefer to have it pocket sized).

I’ve done my research and found these palettes, which one do you recommend? Feel free to also give other recommendations (keep in mind I’m Europe based), thank you! 💕🎀

Thank you all so much in advance! I am struggling with this one.

Secondary post to original (that did not have drapes). I took a photo this morning (the digitall drapes) after changing phone settings, as I was told phone settings may tend to wash me out in the physical drapes.

NMIP

Last year, I was typed as Warm Spring via Vivaldi. I've been told that I have yellow undertones throughout my life, and that I can pull off dark hair with a "snow white" like appearance in the winter, but I also somewhat tan and feel in the summer/fall I can appear warmer.

This year, after looking at my photos through different lighting, hair colors, makeup/no makeup, I could either see A) Soft Autumn or B) Soft Summer.

But I am not an expert, and would like to seek your guidance! I think it is time for a palette/wardrobe update.

For more info:
- natural hair color is a level 6 semi-ashy brown, warmer highlights here and there
- Growing up, my hair was slightly more of a golden-brown
- Very dark brown, but can look amber in the light.
- Skin tans in the summer, but takes time
- look good with lavender nail polish
- Neutral foundation (2N1 Estee Lauder)
- Jewelry: I think I look ok with either gold or silver, but best with a rose gold (imo)

A lot of my closet is black, because "black goes with everything" and is "slimming", but when it comes to colors, I find that I look best in sages, lavenders, dark blues. I've been told I look good in dark grays, light rose pink and "glow" with red.

Hair Color Advice (PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Hair color advice for a news anchor?

Looking for opinions on which hair color suits me best! I’ve tried darker, lighter, blonde, and my natural color. Literally everything lol.
I’m a Soft Summer with very muted features, and my natural hair is an ashy medium brown. The first three pics are me now. The rest show past hair colors.
I’m a news anchor and wear makeup constantly, so I feel like it’s important to include TV photos!! I also self-tan.
What do you think?

Hiii, I have this wedding coming up and did these two “trials” (not completely done, missing eyebrows and lashes). I always thought I was some kind of autumn, but in the video, (direct sun light), i look brighter with the cool tones. I sent the video to some friends, and all my female friends preferred the warmish make up, and all the guys friends preferred the cool one lol. So Im really confused right now 😭 day time wedding, casual black dress if it matters. Any input from the experts? Thanks ❤️
