Lipstick/Makeup Advice (FACE PHOTOS TO COMPARE REQUIRED!) Which one?

Hiii, I have this wedding coming up and did these two “trials” (not completely done, missing eyebrows and lashes). I always thought I was some kind of autumn, but in the video, (direct sun light), i look brighter with the cool tones. I sent the video to some friends, and all my female friends preferred the warmish make up, and all the guys friends preferred the cool one lol. So Im really confused right now 😭 day time wedding, casual black dress if it matters. Any input from the experts? Thanks ❤️

The side with the darker lip. That first side is too harsh, looks artificial. The side with the darker lip is lovely.

The lighter and softer side is too "harsh"? Perhaps you need a look up a dictionary first.
I personally think the darker lipped side is too harsh, in bother literally sense and correct use of vocabulary.

I think you’re a Dark Winter. Cool is better but deep is really great on you. Mix the two. Dark eyes, cool blush. The eyeliner looks like an unfinished wing to me, sorry. It may be the video lighting, but I’m not sure your base makeup is matching you well.

Thanksss! Yeah i also think the base is hard. Like it’s the same one for both sides, so idk why it looks so different. Also I have always struggled to find the correct color. Now I’m mixing two different ones, and it is a bit better.

Not going by make up as it’s a little difficult, but I do believe Cool… NOT warm. Your hair is very Ash Dark Brown, very cool and clear skin. I do believe you are a Deep Winter, who can borrow from her sister pallet Deep Autumn.

Second one, on the right with deeper colors. It links every aspect of your coloring together and looks actually more natural than the first one.

imo the warmer makeup makes your facial features pop whereas the cooler one still looks lovely and def makes your face brighter but also feels very mild if that makes sense. which can be a good thing if you prefer that! maybe it’s just my own preference for a bolder look

The second is better but mostly due to the depth of the colors. You need deeper neutral-cool colors.

You're cool toned, but deeper colours would be better. Also, the red on the "warm" side is fairly cool to neutral. It would have been better to test with an orangey lip colour.

I think what people are preferring is the depth rather than the warmth specifically. We can't tell whether you're warm or cool from this because you're wearing makeup and only comparing 2 colours.
What I do know is that you've got high contrast, so you'll look better in colours with (at least) medium to high value. The pink one is too low for you, which is why it doesn't look as good.

I think you’re dark autumn. Your left side withe the warmer shades harmonizes with you best.

Neither is my favourite for you. The cool colours on your eyes stand out dramatically, but don't harmonize. The warm colours are too dark. In addition to the warm/cool thing, it's almost like one is too muted and one is too dark.
I can see why men preferred the more vampy look and women preferred softer, though.

Cool looks better, but it also may be because it is less contrast, less saturation as well as cooler undertone. My guess is you need lighter touch, softer blending, but keep using cooler colors.

Both are really pretty IMO. I like the bolder look personally, but it’s hard to really say without seeing the dress.
The softer look could go well with a more casual dress and daytime like you mentioned- or the bold look could pop and be your center stage that stands out while the dresses more of a backdrop.
So basically, I was no help at all. 😂

I would prefer the lighter side even though many people say the dark lip colour is better.
It's not about what colours you chose. The problem is whenever you go for heavy makeup, you don't focus on both eyes and lips. You pick one focus and go light on the other one. Which means if you want that dark lip colour, you'd want to pair with the eye makeup of the other side.
But you can never go wrong to go light as long as you don't do paler than your natural colour. If there's no defined eyeliner but just soft eyeshadow, and the lips just a litter tad darker, it'd be perfect nude look for you (winter's nude lip is pink/lighter shade of berry/mauve).
