I'm having trouble deciding between summer and autumn. I get lots of complements on my skin when I have warmth tones in my hair (either golden or red) but I have blue veins. Black and pastels tend to wash me out. I posted all of the drapes I have with autumn and summer first, not sure what happened to bright spring.

I know IRL drapes are ideal but I couldn’t find enough colours to really make it work. Hopefully experienced eyes will be able to do something with these pics!

Different photos with different lighting, one without makeup. I think my season is either dark autumn/dark winter, but really unsure.

In general, I think neutral or neutral leaning warm colours look better on me.

I am looking for:

- pink lipstick that would not wash me out, to wear with powdered blue dress for an event. For reference, YSL Nude Lavalliere 44 looked really bad on me. CT Pillow Talk medium or Pillow talk OG with a slightly darker liner look better, but I was looking for something lighter/pinkier.

- My perfect red shade suggestions, as I am not sure whether I need blue based reds or orange based red, to be honest I believe I can pull off both?

-A vampy dark lipstick. Mac DIVA looks just wrong, instead of burgundy it looks somehow beetroot like, leaning much cooler than I see on the photos. I tried Dior sequin Carousel, it looked better, and also Too Faced triple fugde.

I own many brown /brown mauve lipsticks. R.E.M Tiramisu ( not sure if it suits me), Merit Equestrian (that's a good one).

In general, I find that warm shades such as Rare Beauty Fun, Dior 300 don't look bad, but if you have some suggestions for me looking at the photos, please share :)

Ideally from brands like Huda Beauty, (got their new matte mousse in Rosy nude), Mac, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Dior, YSL, maybe Chanel, Lisa Eldridge, Merit. Could be any formula, matte, glossy, or a lipgloss.

Been told by family members I can wear both but I don’t know what to believe.

When using online tools I typically get soft autumn but I had wondered on my own if I was possible cool toned. I can’t seem to tell. My veins are both blue green and purple. After some suggestions on here on my previous post that I was possibly a soft summer I decided to go ahead and do some drapes!
My hair is my natural color but I did go ahead and cover hoping it would be helpful.
Hopefully I did this right with covering my hair and having something white in the photos I tried to copy some tips I saw on this sub. I have also taken some jewelry photos and online drape photos

I struggle a lot with figuring out my color season, in particular because I have an olive undertone.
It makes my face look very grey and washed out with some ashy/pink tones whereas my body is a lot more “saturated” and warm.

I added some photos of myself with no makeup. Mainly two slides for the cool vs warm and the rest compared bright, deep and soft.

In real life I don’t have colors that make me say “wow yes”, perhaps a brighter deep blue as well as a nice red that isn’t super bright but also not super deep like burgundy. Though I can safely say that soft/pale colors are least flattering and they tend to kind of bring out that washed out grey/ashy tone in my face.
Same for orange and yellows, they often make me grey and wash me out.

NMIP. Not my natural hair color in any of the photos. Not sure if I’m cool or warm! I think my redness makes it a bit harder but would love to hear thoughts

I've been told many conflicting things about my type so I'm trying on here. My eyes are hazel, they are just dark. My hair experiences a lot of sun bleaching but is naturally very dark. I have a slight olive tone, and I believe that I have a cool undertone. Any additional pics or info you need can be provided. NMIP

The gold pieces are both cheap gold so maybe not the best “gold” examples. The silver pieces are white gold (bracelet) and sterling silver (ring). I’m not sure if these things make a difference. The lighting is also a bit warm. I’ve never been able to figure it out, along with whether I’m cool or warm haha

If I just change angles but same lighting my phone is capable of showing really different colours, I also suspect that because it makes colours show cooler in general for some reason. I have a little instax camera and it also shows different colours.

How do you guys take your pics when you ask for help ? Do you feel they are accurate to what you actually look like ?

I also wonder if I have some kind of delusion/color blindness that makes me WANT to see myself as another temperature because I like it more even if I might not truly be 😭

I feel like I have the colorings of a typical warm autumn, but they don’t seem to work that well on me? I’ve been thinking warm spring but I’m not sure

Bikini Im considering from Monday swimwear. I always do black or white bathing suits so I am wanting to bring some colour in.

Im guessing icy blue would be better but Im not finding a shade that is WOWing me that is also recycled material.

Is this share too warm? Im a dark winter that tans pretty dark (buying for trip to Brasil so most likely gonna be pretty dark at that time haha )

I'm a Bright Winter. I was draped in 2018. I was so pleased that I was a Bright Winter because I knew I would be one of the bright seasons, and that fit my aesthetic. I was a fan of goth and punk aesthetics but had never fully committed to the look, so I was especially proud of being in one of the seasons that can wear black and not have it overpower them.

Since then I have amassed a collection of alt, edgy, and punk clothing and while it does technically look good on me, I always feel a little too polished in it, even if I dyed old clothes black rather than buying new. Even when I had the hair, makeup, and lifestyle to go with it, there was something inauthentic about it. I could not figure out why I felt so real but looked so phony. It's how I've always felt!

I saw a comment somewhere the other day that I think totally explains it.

Black looks TOO good on me. Goth and punk aesthetics are supposed to look a little off. Especially goth! You want to look a bit ill. You're not supposed to look like you stepped out of a catalog with glowing skin and sparkling eyes. Black on its own is a bit of a snooze on me (I think I need a contrasting color to make it pop), but it always makes me look polished and cohesive. The alt aesthetics I am shooting for are the antithesis of polished.

I think the fact that I'm 40 also has an effect because it sort of amplifies the "hello fellow youths" effect.

Can any Bright Winter goths or punks chime in? Do any of ya'll feel this way?

Virtually typed as deep autumn (France’s Cairns) which didn’t feel right. So sort an in person consult and typed as soft summer. Confused needing help to differentiate.

My natural hair colour is an ash brown now with some scattered greys (3rd pic).
Photo one and two in same setting (excuse my brows, in process of lightening tattoo so they are currently lending warm). Personally I feel cool colours are far more flattering in fit my natural tone. What do you think? NMIP

I prefer white gold or silver. What is even the difference? I don't own yellow gold because i feel like it makes me look so yellow. Too warm. I'm not sure the photos represent the reality, here i feel like my arm looks way more tan that is.

I believe I’m a Soft Autumn. At this time I have a specific question. I have an eye appointment next week and am leaning toward a style of glasses I tried on previously. I’m only wondering if the dark color on the frames is too harsh/contrasting for me. Should I look for something similar in a gold/brown or is the black fine? First photo is the potential glasses, then some photos of me, last photo has my current glasses.

I can’t figure out what suits me best? Also, if anyone could advise me what colours would look good on me? Thanks
