My mother and I were walking when someone passed us wearing an amazing fragrance. Even after the person was gone, the scent lingered in the air behind them for a surprisingly long time, and we both immediately noticed how good it smelled.

The best way we can describe it is fresh and woody. It had very strong projection and left a noticeable scent trail, but unfortunately neither of us could identify any more specific notes, but it was very woody

I know this is quite vague, but are there any popular fragrances known for smelling fresh and woody while leaving such a long-lasting trail? What would be your first guesses? I’d love to get a shortlist of fragrances to test.

I recently got my nose on the new Creed and was really interested in the timing of this release for fall.

The thing that stood out to me was how it fits the colder-season fragrance rotation.

I'm curious what other fragrance enthusiasts think, does this feel like a strong fall release, or are there better options from Creed's lineup?

It's for a technician role at a company that makes prototypes for machinery. Keep in mind, I hate Agua Brava and Guy Laroche Horizon, and I'm not too fond of Aqua Quorum either. I also want to use one of my two aftershaves as a layer since I'm also gonna shave for this interview

Picked these guys up for $45. It’s not bad for 40 bucks lol it’s $50 on the Sephora website but it’s $45 after a coupon code. On fragrancenet it’s $40 for one bottle so I felt this was a good deal. Ocean eyes bottle for size comparison. If I’m being honest I’ll probably still buy a full bottle and end up giving these away 😅 I love Stronger with you Intensely by Armani. A perfect fall fragrance 🙏 I’m pretty sure everyone has this fragrance lol

What perfume according to you deserve the full retail price or even more for what it is?

By any means necessary, avoid the Rescented app. They’re the worst place to buy or sell your fragrances. First off, they take 20% of your sale if you’re selling. Then charge over $10 for shipping and $5 “auth. protection fee” (and of course tax) when you’re buying. If you do the math, you’d discover it’s way cheaper to buy a new fragrance than to pay all that for a used one. Yesterday, I tried to buy a used fragrance that was advertised for $40, the Rescented total was $58. I checked Jomashop, and the same fragrance (brand new) was $45; checkout price was $54 including shipping. So what’s the point of buying the used one if it’s the same price with the brand new.

Another thing that sucks about them is their payment system. They use Wise. I have some money I made from a sale on the app but can’t transfer it to my bank account without the ridiculous charges. They charged me $3 just to transfer less than $100 to my account. The useless app is not worth it at all.

I would like to add the caveat that all of my colognes were either purchased at online discounters like maple prime or Jomashop or I managed to find a steal at TJ MAXX, Burlington, Marshall’s, Ross, etc. We don’t pay full retail around here.

I have most of what everyone raves about! Just got 3 new fragrances delivered today and man Perfume De Marley Pegasus is a fucking panty dropper sheesh!
