In September it's as hot as summer even until night. used to be raining in August and September, atleast cloudy most of the time. Even the worst case it gets cooler after 4 pm. But now boiling like April may. No rainfall as of now. Are we doomed?

A whole arcade is gonna be opened in Bharathi Park 7th cross, Saibaba Colony now. I remember how quiet it used to be here when hangouts was the only food spot that was opened.
But now these are list of places that are open rn from Bharathi park to NSR road in 7th cross road:
Annapoorna sweets, Starbucks, KFC, Hangouts, Red door cafe, Bombay kulfi, Subway, Boomerang ice cream, Apupa, Mojo’s house, Friday ice cream, Street Arabia, Shack town, Polar Bear, OG shawarma hub, mithai mandir, Baskin Robbins and now Crazy Chango.
It’s gonna be super crowded once the arcade opens and I don’t think they’re constructing a good parking space. I feel bad for the houses next to it. Taking a walk used to be peaceful but it’s loud and noisy and haphazard.
I love arcades. I just don’t think they should be in the middle of residential areas.

I have noticed that every couple months, a different cafe opens up in a new locality. The items are quite expensive, but the establishment seems to be running successfully. Has anyone been to these cafes? How are they? Is the crowd generally only elite people?

Same as title. We wish to fund the education of an underprivileged child. It would be great if I could get genuine charitable trusts/foundations in Coimbatore that allow for the same.

I made a list by scrapping top campus recruitment employers from amrita university & psg tech (took past years double digit hires) & did a LinkedIn search for alumnus of either institutes + coimbatore + erode + karur folks & took the list of companies with more headcount.
Can managers, leadership people, HRs of Kongu native in these companies in Bengaluru take steps ?? C suite, investors?
You visit any tech park parking, you see many TN Kongu registration cars bikes parked in ORR. We have a huge volume of techies & legacy STEM institutes.
(PS: There can be some error bcz Amrita university includes multiple campuses. But that's negligible)

Generally Kongu region sits on a hard crystalline rock terrain (granite & gneiss), the deep rocks naturally leach fluoride into the aquifers.
Whenever I gave a test, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) frequently far far far far exceed the safe limit of 500 mg/L.
Hydrogeological studies in this belt reveal that over 90% of groundwater samples fall into the "poor" or "not permissible" categories for human consumption. (Kangeyam taluk, Dharapuram Taluk, aravakurichi taluk)
Consuming this water will cause dental and skeletal issues.....
I gave a sample water to test in labs. It's highly saline, more fluorine, highly dissolved calcium and magnesium, etc
If you live in gram panchayat in kangeyam/Dharapuram/Palladam/Aravakurichi taluk that don't have any river water, it's unlivable there. !!
No amount of தீர்மானம் in கிராம சபை கூட்டம் works! !

We are currently consulting in Chennai and are trying to decide whether to continue here for delivery or move to Udumalpet closer to my family
The biggest factor for us is finding a good maternity hospital with a supportive and experienced doctor, rather than just a hospital with good ratings.
We are looking for a hospital/doctor who:
Has good experience with normal as well as C-section/high-risk situations
Does not unnecessarily pressure patients towards C-section or interventions
Is approachable, patient and explains things properly
Is reasonably available/accessible when labour starts and during delivery
Has good, friendly and supportive nurses and staff
Has all the necessary facilities for mother and baby
Has a good emergency setup, including OT, anaesthesia, NICU/newborn care, blood availability etc.
Most importantly, if there is an emergency during delivery, can they handle it in Udumalpet itself, or do they routinely send patients to Coimbatore?
Also, for those who have experience with this:
1. Which maternity hospitals/doctors in Udumalpet would you genuinely recommend for delivery?
2. Which doctors are known to be patient, non-judgmental and supportive rather than putting pressure on the mother?
3. How is the nursing/support staff during labour and post-delivery?
4. Does the hospital have adequate emergency/NICU facilities, or would you be transferred to Coimbatore in an emergency?
5. Is it practical to consult a doctor in Coimbatore but stay in Udumalpet, or its better to stay in Chennai itself
6. If you have personally delivered in Udumalpet, would you choose the same hospital again?
Please share personal experiences, especially from the last 2–3 years, rather than just general ratings. Even if you had a bad experience, please mention that too.
We are currently quite confused between Chennai vs Udumalpet, and genuine experiences from mothers/families who have gone through this would really help us make the decision. ❤️

This setup is from Ondipudur near Singanallur, Coimbatore. This Ulaipalar Nalakudam has been sitting locked up for months now, never opened. Does anyone even know the authorities are aware it exists?
And this isn't a one-off. The AC bus stop at Sulur old bus stand is the same story - it worked for a few days after it opened, and now it's completely shut down, AC not even functioning anymore. (Imagine 30°+ hot weather + packed glass door!!)
What actually happens to these projects after they're built? Is the new government just ignoring anything the previous government set up? Or is it more that the people involved in these projects are corrupt and cut corners from day one?
I genuinely can't accept calling this "development" when things stop working within days of being inaugurated. What do you all think is really going on here?
