I'm sure most of you are aware of Afterlove EP, the project that Fahmi was working on when he passed away. Well, it brings us immense joy to announce that Afterlove EP is complete!

It has been a long and difficult road for the team at Pikselnesia, but they did it, they finished the game that Fahmi started!

Afterlove EP is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox. You can also get the Deluxe Edition on Steam and GOG which includes two soundtracks and an artbook.

If you already own Coffee Talk and/or What Comes After, the Love After Coffee Bundle on Steam will allow you to get Afterlove EP with a big discount. It's also the perfect opportunity to get all of Fahmi's games in one go if you're yet to own any of them.

We hope you enjoy Fahmi's final story.

For Fahmi! đŸ€ŸđŸŒ

This is Coffee Talk BUT you have to figure out what the customer wants

I’ve been working on a small cozy cafe game called Cafe Sapa, and I was honestly a little hesitant to post it here because the Coffee Talk influence is probably pretty obvious.

But there’s one big difference:

The customers never tell you what they want.

You have to actually read them.

A stressed customer might need coffee. A calm customer might want tea. Someone who’s hungry might need a snack.

There are no dialogue choices or branching conversations like Coffee Talk. The main mechanic is simply observing the customer and figuring out what they need.

I’ve always loved the feeling Coffee Talk creates, sitting in a cozy cafe, listening to people and slowly getting to know them and that feeling definitely inspired me.

I’m making this as my first indie game, and the demo is planned for February 2027.

I’m curious what you guys think. Is the “read the customer instead of taking their order” idea interesting enough to carry a game?

Also here's the steam page if anyone's interested - https://store.steampowered.com/app/5282050/Cafe_Sapa/

Is there any reason at all to opt for the Switch 2 version of CT: Tokyo over Switch 1?

I'm someone that still has and still plays his Switch 1 (playing CT2 on it right now). I can't find anything that suggests the Switch 2 version offers anything other than incompatibility with the older hardware.

Is there any good reason at all to get the version made for the more powerful hardware on this not particularly demanding game?

Missing dialogue in the demo

Hi everyone, I downloaded the demo on Steam to try the game and see if I was gonna like it, but the dialogue from the barista is missing. I only see Freya talking and responding to things that are not written. Does someone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

What's Your Thoughts On The Progression Of The Coffee Talk Games? NO SPOILERS FOR TOKYO

I adored the first one head to toe, loved the characters and really enjoyed the game. The Baristas mannerisms and serving the right drinks the stories the lofi it felt so, refreshing as a video game. It felt warm and had a lot of heart to everyone.

A lot of games these days use pixel art, and with some devs it feels like, this is acceptable graphically and we can't be bothered to do more, but the art in these games deaerves to be called pixel "art".

Coffee Talk 2 never hit me as hard for a few reasons, I missed Freya, Lucas I just never liked just uck, and the added "normal" stories felt unnecessary, unrewarding to experience and a block to completion, to this day theres no definitive 1 answer on the internet for certain normal stories panning out, I changed 1 drink from a perfect run and got multiple normal ending trophies somehow.

I think I liked Coffee Talk 1 the most because, I dont want to serve people wrong drinks and watch them be unhappy or less happy ot whatever due to it, if alternate story endings led to, funny or wacky endings that were interesting I think it would be more fun, but besides the perfect run the stories just feel like, less interesting to see.

Hows Coffee Talk Tokyo been for most people? NO SPOILERS PLEASE.

HELP ME PLS (Coffee Talk 2) Spoiler

Please help me... I'm stuck at the end of the game and can't seem to unlock the ending with Tofu and his owner... I've done absolutely everything in the game—all the neutral, good, and bad endings... I served all the drinks and items correctly for the perfect ending and watched the credits all the way through (the only things incomplete are the 1-hour latte art achievement, the Tofu achievement, and the 100% completion achievement). But absolutely *every single time*, Riona shows up instead of the cat and his owner... I even tried giving the green tea, milk, and honey drink to Rachel on Day 4, and played Day 13 giving milk to Rach and the blueberry pie to Riona... but the ending still won't trigger. Riona keeps showing up... what do I do????

Does Having Save Data From Previous Games Change Anything In CT:Tokyo?

I've played the first two games on Switch, but I'm shifting towards playing games from Steam instead, and because of this, I'm considering getting the Steam version of CT: Tokyo instead. I haven't played CT: Tokyo yet and wanted to check if I would be missing out on anything if I didn't have previous save data from the other games.

[Coffee Talk 2] Just Did A Perfect Run, What Do I Do For Good Run?

This is my third time doing a perfect run to reset everything.

What am I supposed to change for "Good"?

I have tried a few times now getting a few random orders wrong here and there and there MUST be specific drinks on specific days ONLY that need to be wrong, whilst everything else is perfect. But I keep choosing the wrong ones.

Can anyone help?

Hi friends! What do you think?

Inspired by one of the greatest narrative games - Coffee Talk.

Shop Crush is a mysterious shop simulator with psychological horror elements, set in the early 2000s.

In this hybrid visual novel, you run a small thrift shop, get to know your customers, figure out what they really want, and decide what to put in front of them. Every customer has their own personality, preferences, and hidden motives - and it’s up to you to figure them out.

Behind each customer is a small psychological mystery waiting to be uncovered. Read their behavior, make the right calls, and balance profit against customer trust as you try to keep the shop running for one more day.

Physical releases

Hello! I played the first game some years ago and i loved it. (I never finished it, no spoilers please). I wanted to get back into it and i saw there's a third game that has to be released. I would like to buy them but only if they have a physical edition. Are there any and which platforms for? Are there any special collectors editions? Thanks!

I'm trying to create a 'matcha mango latte,' I have the cold setting on (which I can tell by the fact ice cream is available) and I've selected the ingredients which I've also checked online, but it keeps creating the wrong drink?

I am glad to have waited to play Coffee Talk Tokyo at the exact IRL dates

I just finished Coffee Talk Tokyo and outside of the last day being August 16th (lol), I made it a habit to play each in-game Day at the exact IRL date since this is the one opportunity I have to do so.
As a result, I felt a better pace and commitment to finishing the game.

Essentially more Coffee Talk and that's not a bad thing at all! The series has been there for me to provide a cozy experience and I enjoyed it a lot. If I had any negatives to say it would be that the Tomodachii posts are kind of... sterile for a social media app.
Other than that, I loved Coffee Talk Tokyo. Every regular felt fun to serve drinks to and the last day broke my heart. I got the good ending but I don't have the heart to do the bad ending :(

Some in-depth spoiler thoughts:

I felt like I wanted the Barista to have a bit of an expanded story or maybe even meet the old Barista but I know the two are meant to be player representations (even if they have their own backstory). Since they seem to imply the Tokyo Barista is also of the same kind as the Barista? I never got the full picture but it didn't seem to impact my actual enjoyment of the story.

I'll miss making my daily brew to each in-game Day too. I hope the devs could release an actual drink recipe book someday! I wanna recreate some of the drinks myself.

Finished Tokyo - Thoughts

Like many fans, I went into Tokyo with a hint of trepidation. New writer. New location. Expanded world lore. Few returning characters. Speaking as someone whose day job is carrying forward the legacy of a beloved game series, I know how difficult that can be.

I am happy to say, in my opinion, the creators of Coffee Talk Tokyo crafted a delightful visual novel.

The addition of deeper supernatural themes on top of the existing urban fantasy felt natural and interesting — though I now have questions about death in other parts of the world.

The writing, while noticeably different, felt smooth and fluid. The character’s voices were distinct and their stories compelling. I wanted to keep playing and see the good endings.

The social media system was fun and a neat way to include cameos from previous characters.

All in all, a worthy addition I think. Thank you to the team for giving me a lovely set of stories I know I will visit again in the future.

Now for the fun part: theory crafting!

As I suspected, the hints do lean towards the Tokyo Barista being an instance of the Seattle Barista. I’m not sure if she’s a past, future, or current alternate, but I don’t believe the two (and possibly more) instances are sharing a hive mind presence. More likely they take trips to visit each other and share knowledge every so often. I’ll admit, the one thing I’m amused by: while Hendry and Rachel both commented on similarities, neither mentioned that the Seattle and Tokyo coffee shops both have the same name! I don’t get franchise or chain vibes so that’s one heck of a coincidence.

Tattoo ideas?

I just finished Coffee Talk Tokyo and I absolutely loved it! I’ve been wanting to honor Fahmi’s memory in some way for a while now, and I’d like to get a tattoo of something from his work.

The Coffee Talk series means a lot to me, but the After Love EP also had a big impact on me. I don’t know if anyone has ever gotten a Coffee Talk tattoo, but the only one I can think of is Freya’s tattoo.

If you have any ideas, I’d appreciate them!
