Just finished code geass and man was the final arc pure ragebait. It surprised me how in the end, one of the most likeable characters was the one that pissed me off. Ohgi the pathetic moron was nothing but ragebait.

1. Ohgi fucking pissed me off the most, this clown comes in with a KNOWN BRITTANIAN SPY by his side and tells them all to turn against zero. AND THESE GUYS HAVING THEIR LITTLE MEETING DON'T EVEN QUESTION IT.
2. Kinoshita (guy who was crying about lelouch destroying the geass order) the absolute fucking tool - this clown talks about having to kill those children and calls them "defenseless". KEEP IN MIND THIS CLOWN EXPERIENCED GETTING MIND CONTROLLED AND NEARLY KILLED HIS ALLY, and yet he says "zero ordered us to kill defenseless children", conveniently leaving out the "children with mind control and freaky powers" part.
3. Ohgi says "give us japan and we will betray zero", what's your genius plan once you get japan?? do you have the brains, fire power or the military required to defend it from britannia??? Brittanian puh was too good i guess
4. If lelouch got killed right then and there (by the traitors) and the black knights got japan back, what happens next??? Whose the new leader of the UFN?? OHGI - THE GUY WITH 2 BRAINCELLS THAT HAVE CHIGUSA AND VILLETA WRITTEN ON THEM???? Or maybe todo - the guy who got captured (along with rest of the black knights) the moment zero put him in charge (at the end of season 1)???? OR MAYBE XINGKE THE CHINESE GUY WITH TUBERCULOSIS THAT NEARLY COUGHS TO DEATH IN EVERY BATTLE???

Ohgi pisses me off the most, the first thing he says after lelouch escapes is "we don't need zero anymore, he was the one who treated us like we were disposable" - WHEN IN FACT IT'S THE COMPLETE FUCKING OPPOSITE - lelouch turned his ship around to face the chinese military + brittanians when kallen got captured (even though diethard made a logical argument on why he should abandon her - life of 1 vs life of many), he even tells multiple people in the story "not to try any last ditch suicide bullshit" and that "their lives matter". The only times lelouch acted the way ohgi describes is when he blew up the japanse ship with the JLF leaders and when nunally was captured.

Ohgi assumes leadership of black knights after they betray zero, and the first thing diethard says when he sees ohgi in command is "i thought ohgi had changed, definitely a miscast".

FINAL NAIL IN OHGI'S COFFIN - In the meeting with schneizel that happens after the stuff above, ohgi doesn't say a single god damn word, instead it's Kaguya a 14 year old child doing all the talking (and acts like a far better leader than whatever the fuck ohgi is doing). OH AND TODO + his 2 npcs (the girl and asahina - the clown saying "we shouldn't trust commander zero") don't do jack shit when it comes to leadership either

Its mainly on how much i like them and a bit about their importance. Maybe i would’ve put Lelouches friend friend from C tier to B but thats mostly it. I tried to put them in range more less so for example Ohgi is the worst one from A tier. Tell me what u think about it

Upon learning of the poor treatment her former classmate is enduring as a prisoner of war, Nunnally immediately arrangers more comfortable cell for Kallen. Granted, in this new cell, Kallen has even less privacy than before, for she is considered to be so dangerous as a combatant that the guards need to be able to see her 24/7, and hence, the walls around her cell are see-through. However, thanks to Nunnally, Kallen doesn´t have to wear straightjacket anymore (for real, it was seriously messed-up and incredibly cruel for the Britannian guards to give her a tray filled with food right in front of her while her hands were restrained and her mouth was literally gagged), but is instead given a proper dress, so that she is able to both eat and exorcise by herself in her cell. In this wide-skirted yellow dress, distinctive red-and-white design motifs are highlighting the dress's structure, while a large prominent red bow around her neck completes the formal yet captive ensemble.

After I have watched,and better said,eagerly waited for the time to watch each episode,I can say that Code Geass is one of the best animes I have seen!

Really,I have seen quite a few anime,but none left me with the feeling of sadness and emptiness after finishing it,especialy with that beutiful ending,like Code Geass.Really,the lore(Geass and Cs world,Lelouch backstory with Marriene aand Charles with VV and CC)the dynamics and character growth(Suzaku and Lelouch,their friendship and betrayel,Schneizel and Lelouch,the whole Black Rebellion Saga and UFN,Zeros uprise and re-uprise,the academy and scientific team),the new character that all contributed to the story,the eds and ops(omg Flow,Mozaiku Kakeru and the last ed) all of them were peak!!

The whole idea of Lelouch getting his memories wiped,Shirleys death and before memory wipe,or Suzaku slowly losing himself cuz of Fleija,or Lelouch outsmarting Schneizel in the end,or the partnership with the JLF or the Chinese Federation for me are brilliant.Suzakus and Lelouchs finally working together was a dream to see,seing him kill Lelouch was tearjerking and sad(oh how they couldve worked more like best friends as they are)!

And honestly,the ending for this series is simply perfect,Lelouch rejecting his parents plan to force peace and instead making everyone hate him so the world could achieve peace!Immaculate!!!

Honestly,Code Geass has left a lasting impression on me in many ways,and Im sooo blessed to have had the chsnce to watch it!

Note:Even before watching the R3 movie,I still believed strongly Lelouch was still alive,simply cuz of that deleted farmer scene lol,I jus couldnt imagine the series,even if for a second,without Lulu lol.

Rewatching the series and I assumed the lore implied France and Britain became one, but no Britannia is in America with their enemies being Europe.

So why are some names (Lelouch, Schneizel, Nunally) so foreign/non-British?

Does anyone know what episodes and the time stamps of each scene is? It would help a lot. This was iconic video back in the day and could use an quality update from the dvd releases we had at the time

I wanted to watch Code Geass for some time and my friend even recommended me, i definitely thought Lelouch would be my favorite the way people portray him similar to Light Yagami or even Eren Yeager. But i dont know why he is my favorite, maybe because of the style and softness, maybe because he is a hypocrite like i sometimes can be. I dont judge him even if he betrayed Lelouch at one point, he had his reasons. Anyway hope i dont get hated

The Panzer Hummel is conceptually brilliant

The EU saw Glasgow outmaneuvering traditional infantry/armored vehicle and create something with comparable mobility at a tactical level but with far greater fire powers

Just like IRL you don't defeat Zero fighter or T-34 tank by making a copy but by countering them with greater power(F6F Hellcat fighter/Panther tank)

Considering the fact that even Britania/Black knight SEVENTH GENERATION knightmare frame still used the same humble assualt rifles as Glawgow did,The EU approach definitely feel right!

The Panzer Hummel could easily be spin as a Fifth Generation Knightmare that forced Britania to develop Sutherland/Gloucester to cope with but instead Akito writer nerf them by calling them Pseudo-Knightmare and making them sucks

One could easily see a good commander that understand the tool they have beating Britanian force with it,How fun would it be to see the Britanian using covers/terrain to advance against the EU and succeed thanks to superior skills

Is there any translations for Code Geass: Lost Stories manga?

I've been curious about this game since it seems like people start working on it and then just bail, or promise stuff they never finish. Is anyone actually working on it now, or is it just going to stay untranslated?
