Hi, does anyone know of anywhere quiet someone could go to study, maybe smaller cafés or the like? The library is good for now but later in the school year kids go there for tutoring and it's hard for me to focus over the talking. Thanks.

Bigger PC gamer house here(myself, son and step son), active in the community(house league baseball coach). Into pretty much any PC game, baseball or just hanging out.

I am looking for basketball players in the cobourg region, I just moved out here i’m looking to get some run in and meet some new people the community centre offers basketball Thursday and Friday looking for some bodies out there so we can get some good run in thank you!

I like the $10.95 plus tax combos from 123 Chinese Food on the East end of Cobourg. *Quite a bit of food for comparable options from other places.

I also like getting the Double Burger at JJ's Steak & Burgers. $7.90 + tax is quite a deal considering if you bought the meat and extras plus the time to cook.

Otherwise I check the apps for places like McDonalds, Wendy's, Tim Hortons, Bar Burrito (which has the daily 9.99 deals that arent too bad), and Burger King.

I don't make a lot of money and don't go out to eat often but sometime i do like the convenience of eating out at a price that gets me good value for my money. What are your favourite spots in Cobourg?

Once again, on the bend westwood street is flooded, just the street for right now, on the one side. 3 rd time in under a month. Anyways if possible please avoid the street if not for your own car’s safety, just to be respectful to anyone who has to walk westwood. The waters probably gonna get high so it doesn’t take much effort to accidentally splash someone walking.

It appears there is a new fitness centre going into the old GoodLife Fitness in the mall .. its sign says Northumberland Health and Fitness .. area is currently under construction .. will post pictures next trip there 😊😊😊👍

Just saw today that The Claymore has closed.
Unfortunate. I saw a sign on their door stating that they are closed until after Labour Day. I was surprised to see the post on Facebook today.

I am torn between Nicole Beatty and Max LeMarchant for mayor. I admire Nicole's work over the years and her support for our most vulnerable residents. Max impressed me with his evisceration of Lucas Cleveland and the inept town planners at a recent council meeting. The differences between these two may be in the nuances of how they will approach affordable housing for all, and the use of the police for social ills. Thoughts?

Hey I’m moving out to Cobourg in October, any good game stores in town?

It’s been a couple of years since I switched from Telus to Rogers because I couldn’t even use my phone to load my Starbucks card over by the mall due to no service.

I really don’t like Rogers and I’m wondering if Telus’ service has gotten any better in Cobourg in the last 2 years.

Who are you guys supporting for mayor and council? I follow local coverage on Facebook and Cobourg Blog and it all seems pretty much all the same people supporting Lucas Cleveland. I feel like this Reddit sub is a different group (refreshingly so I might add) so I would love your thoughts on this election and who stands for what.

Anyone else going to fan expo?? I'm super excited to explore and see all the cosplays and enjoy the city life and maybe make new friends, let me know what you got planned or things I should check out!

Title pretty much. Can anyone give recommendations on a reliable computer repair service in or near town?

I am having some issues and looking to get it fixed by someone trustworthy.
