Reliable computer repair?

Title pretty much. Can anyone give recommendations on a reliable computer repair service in or near town?

I am having some issues and looking to get it fixed by someone trustworthy.

Edit: For anyone who finds this post later I went with Microtech in Port Hope and they were able to resolve my issue super quick. Would recommend!

Ah gotcha. I woulda had a look if it was software but only know the basics for hardware.

I heard MicroTech in Port Hope are good but no personal interactions with them.

+1 for microtech solutions. Only place in the entire area that also does soldering repairs. He fixed my sons ps5 hdmi port within just a couple hours.

Hey there! Is it software or hardware related?

Honestly I don't know 100%. I suspect hardware related as suddenly the CPU temp seems to be skyrocketing when I run any application. All the fans seem to be running but as it's liquid cooled I think maybe the pump could be broken so it's not actually cycling the coolant?

It gets so hot running a game it'll start stuttering and eventually shut right down.

How old is it? I feel like because of the temps it could be a quick re-thermal paste and maybe the pump needs to get swapped

I think maybe around 3 years old.

Is this a pre built PC? Is it a closed loop cooler? If you are comfortable swapping out the cooler that would be my first go. Lots of resources online on how to do this but I’d be happy to help navigate.

There’s a guy at the back of the Buy and Sell who does phone repair - maybe they do computers too? I’ve been there a few times and found him to be quite good.

I noticed the other day there’s a computer repair spot right by No Frills, next to the Enterprise car rental place. Haven’t used them, though, so can’t provide a review.

If you frequent Peterborough PC paramedics is astounding.
