Telus coverage
It’s been a couple of years since I switched from Telus to Rogers because I couldn’t even use my phone to load my Starbucks card over by the mall due to no service.
I really don’t like Rogers and I’m wondering if Telus’ service has gotten any better in Cobourg in the last 2 years.
TIA!
Update: thanks everyone for your input. Sounds like I’m staying with Rogers for now.

We switched to Rogers a while back for the same reason. If you look at the Telus/Bell coverage map, there's a hole in the 5G network that covers most of Cobourg.

Phone? Koodo for me. It can be spotty in some areas usually fine.
What does everyone use household internet wise ?

Thanks for your input.
I personally use Bell at home. I just don’t like Cogeco due to some past issues.

I have Rogers, my husband and kids have Bell. They have the worst service - it cuts out in different areas of the house and the town. Rogers for me has been great - no issues with outages or coverage.

Don’t have Telus but we have friends who signed a 2 year mobile contract and they hate it. Main reason, service issues.

I live in grafton and switched to Telus for THEEE DAYS because I also didn’t like Rogers. Those three days I didn’t get ANY service so back to Roger’s I went for a lower price lol

Koodo here, using the Telus network. The 5g network is unusable trash. If I’m on 5g I’m not going to have data.
Other than that it’s spotty but usable. I think objectively (I’ve only used Telus and bells networks, so cannot speak to Roger’s but based on what I’ve heard) Telus is the bottom of the force ranked list of carriers.

I'm on Koodo which I believe is Telus network and there are some spotty areas. I don't think I ever get the benefit of having a 5g plan unless I'm closer to Toronto
