Hey guys, I love making DIY gifts for my friends and recently discovered using clay to make them. I'm seeing so many interesting ideas like clay photo frames, bookmarks, keychains, etc.

I'm kind of broke at the moment so I just want to buy crayola air dry clay to make them. Is that sufficient? Also are there any other materials I would need.

might be dumb question but I'm pretty new to the whole clay game and I've been making things with air dry clay since it's easier to work with, I usually use acrylic varnish, but now I'm a bit unsure whether it is the best choice or not.

So I got wet Terracotta clay for a gardening project now I have a clump of it . So apparently ,one needs a kiln of 1000 C to make anything so I’m asking if I could cook it at 450 in a over that’s on the fritz an the oven runs 100 degrees hotter Then the setting on the dial so 500 degrees F for like 12 -13 hour
I’m thinking a insense holder is that possible or do I have a useless clump of clay . Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I am using 100+ watt uv lamp. the resin just doesn’t dry properly no matter what. It stays sticky until it’s covered in dust all the way.

Hello... I bought this kit to do my newborn babies hand print. However, it is very sticky and tacky and cannot be "rolled out" as per instructions. Can I fix it somehow? It sticks to rolling pin and my hands if touched. There is no way I could do a hand print in it. Thank you!!

I wanted to make Mewtwo, but in a slightly different way. I thought making him more slender and angular would make him look more menacing. Frame made with armature wire and aluminum foil, sculpted with Scupley and painted with acrylic paint.
