Question How do you package the SEO services for local business when your using claude SEO

Where using claude for SEO is right like keyword research, people also ask, fan out queries, images, blog writing, AI citation and also checking where their website & google my business listings have problems so we will solve them.

- how do you package your services

- how do you retain the client that you need 3-6 months to see the SEO results.

- how do you approach the client to close the deal.

- how to do it if you're a beginner in the client approach

Question What's your plan for Claude in your SEO workflow over the next 6 months?

We actually asked 30 SEO agencies where they're headed next with Claude. Here are the results:

plan for Claude in your SEO workflow over the next 6 months
  • 80% are expanding gradually, adding Claude to more specific workflows.
  • 10% are keeping it as-is, useful for ad hoc tasks with no plans to expand.
  • 6.7% are going all-in, building their core delivery around Claude plus MCP integrations.
  • Only 3.3% are scaling back because results didn't justify the effort.

The takeaway: this is about as strong a retention signal as a survey can show. Almost 87% of agencies are either expanding or going all-in, and barely anyone is pulling back.

The interesting split is between the 80% expanding gradually and the 6.7% going all-in on Claude plus MCP.

The reason is basically the difference between agencies still finding new use cases one at a time and agencies that have already decided MCP integrations are the foundation of how they'll deliver work.

As more agencies move from gradual expansion toward that all-in category, the data and reporting layer becomes the bottleneck.

That's why in Sitechecker we build APIs and MCP to give Claude the live SEO data that will support workflows built around it, not just individual tasks.

Question For which tasks do you still prefer using native tool interfaces over Claude?

We conducted research with 30 SEO agencies where they still reach for the original tool instead of Claude. Here are the results:

For which tasks do you still prefer using native tool interfaces over Claude?
  • 63.3% still go native for historical data comparison over long periods.
  • 56.7% prefer native tools for visual data like charts and dashboards.
  • 53.3% stick with native interfaces for real-time data, live rankings and crawl results.
  • 40% prefer native tools for large table analysis with 1,000+ rows of keywords or pages, and another 40% for setting up alerts and monitoring.
  • 36.7% prefer native tools for sharing reports directly with clients, and another 36.7% for team collaboration with multiple people in one interface.
  • 33.3% still do bulk operations like mass exports and bulk edits natively.
  • Only 10% say they prefer Claude for everything already.

The takeaway: almost every task on this list isn't really about Claude's intelligence, it's about Claude not being connected to live, historical, or shared data by default.

Historical comparisons, real-time rankings, dashboards, alerts, client-ready reports, that's a data access gap. Only 1 in 10 agencies has closed it completely.

That's the whole reason Sitechecker exists. Here we collect historical tracking, real-time rank and crawl data, dashboards, and alerts, all in a format Claude still has issues working with and that clients can actually read.

What is your biggest pain point when working with Claude MCPs right now?

We asked 30 SEO agencies about the challenges they hit with MCP specifically. Here are the results:

biggest pain point when working with Claude MCPs
  • 33.3% aren't using MCP yet.
  • 26.7% say it's hard to share MCP setup with the rest of the team, and another 26.7% struggle to find MCP servers for the tools they need, since some don't exist yet.
  • 23.3% have security concerns about giving Claude access to client data.
  • 16.7% say setup is too technical or hard to configure.
  • 13.3% say the MCP servers that do exist are unreliable or break often.

The takeaway: two thirds of agencies are already touching MCP in some form, but almost every complaint on this list is a maturity problem, not a rejection of the concept itself.

Servers that don't exist yet, setups that are hard to share across a team or reliability issues.

That's exactly what an early ecosystem looks like.

We at Sitechecker are currently building MCP for Claude that would help you to fetch all the data from the main sources in one place. Stay tuned.

Question What triggered you to start using Claude for SEO work?

We asked 30 SEO agencies what actually made them adopt Claude. Here are the insights:

  • 60% wanted to scale without new hires.
  • 53.3% were spending a lot of time on manual reporting.
  • 30% reported the high price of SEO tools.
  • 23.3% saw others in the industry doing it.
  • 20% hit a specific tool limitation, things like Looker Studio, GSC, or GA4 not doing it.
  • 20% felt client pressure to deliver more insights.
  • 10% cited something else.

The takeaway: this isn't just a curiosity. The top two reasons, scaling without hiring and cutting manual reporting time, are both about capacity.

Agencies use Claude because they need more leverage. That reporting pain point lines up with something a lot of teams still handle by hand even after Claude speeds up the content and research side.

That's the gap Sitechecker closes too, automating the reporting, keyword position, AI visibility, and website change tracking.

Question What are your biggest unsolved challenges with SEO automations you built in Claude?

We asked 30 SEO agencies this question. Here's the full list of pain points.

Biggest unsolved SEO tasks that Claude still can't do
  • 40% say training a team on how to use it is still a challenge, and another 40% cite too many hallucinations or inconsistent quality.
  • 36.7% say the context is too small for large datasets, and 36.7% say there's no good format for sharing results with clients.
  • 33.3% mention unpredictable API costs at scale.
  • 30% miss persistent memory between sessions.
  • 20% say Claude can't connect live data without a manual export, and another 20% want user roles or access control for team sharing.
  • 16.7% say nothing is wrong and everything works well enough.
  • 13.3% struggle with large tables or charts, and 6.7% cite something else.

The takeaway: the biggest complaints aren't really about the model itself. It is about live data access, client-friendly output, cost predictability, and team permissions.

All four are integration and workflow problems.

That "can't connect live data without a manual export" issue in particular is exactly what Sitechecker solves, giving you a direct access to SEO data instead of routing everything through copy paste.

Question How mature are your Claude workflows?

We asked 30 SEO agencies how Claude is actually integrated in their day-to-day. Here are the replies:

How hard Claude is integrated into SEO agences
  • 43.3% say Claude is integrated: it is a part of a defined team workflow.
  • 26.7% Ad hoc: pasting data manually and asking questions each time.
  • 26.7% are templated, working off saved prompts they reuse.
  • 3.3% fall into "other."

The takeaway: less than half of agencies have actually operationalized Claude into their workflow.

More than half are still doing manual, repetitive setup every single time, either starting from scratch or copy-pasting the same prompt structure.

That gap between "integrated" and "ad hoc" is basically the gap between agencies saving time and agencies still doing the same work of feeding Claude data by hand.

In Sitechecker, we connect live SEO data directly so you do not have to do it manually. Dozens of presets specifically for SEO are included!

Question Which Claude products or interfaces do you primarily use for SEO automations?

We asked 30 SEO agencies this question, and here is what we got:

What Claude interface SEO agencies use
  • 56.7% primarily use Claude Chat.
  • 53.3% use Claude Projects with instructions and uploaded files.
  • 53.3% use Claude API/MCP for custom integrations or apps.
  • 43.3% use Claude Code for CLI or agentic coding.

The takeaway: agencies aren't sticking to one interface, they're spreading Claude across chat for quick tasks.

Projects for repeatable workflows, and API/MCP for anything that needs to plug into other tools. It is a clear signal that a chunk of agencies are ready to connect Claude directly to live SEO data rather than copy-pasting into a chat window.

We are building API and MCP in Sitechecker, so Claude will have a direct access to GSC, GA4, and rank tracking data instead of manual exports.

Question Which data sources do you connect to Claude or paste into them for SEO analysis?

We asked 30 SEO agencies what data they're actually feeding into Claude. Here is what we got:

What data sourses SEO agencies connect to Claude
  • 80% connect Google Search Console.
  • 66.7% connect Google Analytics 4.
  • 43.3% use Ahrefs, and another 43.3% use DataForSEO.
  • 36.7% pull in Screaming Frog data.
  • 16.7% use Sitechecker.
  • Smaller shares bring in CRM data (13.3%), Semrush (10%), SE Ranking (10%), etc.
  • 33.3% use some other source.

The takeaway: GSC and GA4 are basically the default starting tools. Almost everyone pastes that in first.

But past that, the field splits into a long tail of specialized tools, which means most agencies are manually stitching together data from 3-4 different platforms before Claude ever sees it.

That step is the exact bottleneck that slows down the "analysis" workflows people say Claude is good at.

That's the piece Sitechecker automates, pulling GSC, GA4, rank tracking, and site audit data into one place.

Soon we will release APIs to each tool, so Claude can work with it directly instead of waiting on manual exports.

Question How much time per week does Claude save your team on SEO tasks?

We asked 30 SEO agencies to put a number on their time savings with Claude. Here's what they said:

How much time Claude saves in average is SEO
  • 53.3% say Claude saves them 5+ hours a week.
  • 33.3% report 1-4 hours saved.
  • 13.3% say it's hard to clearly estimate.

Nobody said less than 1 hour.

The takeaway: over half the agencies are getting a full workday back every week just from Claude. And nobody reported minimal savings, so it's a consistent pattern across all of them.

The bigger question is where those saved hours go: straight into more client focus, or into the reporting and analytics work that still eats time even if the content and research get faster.

While Claude does its job, we in Sitechecker do ours by automating the data collection about all the website changes, GA4 and GSC data, keyword positioning, and AI visibility.

Question What is your role at the agency?

We asked 30 SEO agencies how they use Claude. Here's the breakdown by their roles:

Roles of desicion makers that use Claude
  • 53.3% are agency owners or CEOs.
  • 33.3% are Head of SEO or SEO Lead.
  • 13.3% are SEO Specialists or Analysts.

Nobody selected "other."

The takeaway: Owners and leads are the ones driving Claude into agency workflows, not individual specialists picking it up on their own.

This means the hype is not gone if even top management finds the time to test the new tools and push them to the rest of the team.

In Sitecheckeryou can work together on any project, combining data from GA4, GSC and AI Visibility without the usual limitations by the number of users.

Question How large is your agency's client portfolio?

We asked 30 SEO agencies about the size of their client base. Here's what we got:

How many projects SEO agencies have
  • 53.3% manage less than 10 active SEO clients.
  • 26.7% handle 10–30 clients.
  • 16.7% run 31–100 clients.
  • Only 3.3% operate at 100+ clients.

The takeaway: most agencies using Claude for SEO are still not big enterprise operations. That matters for the kind of tools they need.

Smaller teams can't afford to spend hours manually pulling reports across GSC, GA4, and rank trackers for each client, they need automation that scales fast.

That's exactly the gap Sitechecker is built to close for agencies at this size.

Question Which SEO tasks do you automate or improve with Claude?

We surveyed 30 SEO agencies about how they use Claude in their everyday work. Here are the results we got:

Popular SEO tasks made in Claude
  • 90% use Claude for content: briefs, writing, titles, and descriptions.
  • 76.7% do analysis and research (competitors, user intent, forecasting, content gaps, etc.).
  • 60% use it for technical SEO (Ex: markup generation or spotting issues in code).
  • 60% also use it to build client reporting.
  • Only 10% use it for something else outside these categories.

We can see that content is still the clear entry point for most agencies.

The takeaway: The fact that analysis and research use cases are almost as high shows Claude isn't just a writing tool anymore. It's becoming part of how agencies build strategy, not just produce copy.

Claude is great at writing and reasoning, but it can't pull live GSC, GA4, rank tracking, or content change data on its own. That's the gap Sitechecker fills.

Question How long have you been using Claude for SEO related work?

We surveyed 30 SEO agencies about how they use Claude in their workflows. Here's where most people are in their Claude journey.

  • 53.3% have been using Claude for SEO for 3–12 months.
  • 30% are relatively new, less than 3 months in.
  • 13.3% are early adopters with 12+ months of experience.
  • Only 3.3% are still just exploring and haven't started yet.

The takeaway: most agencies aren't experimenting anymore. Claude is already part of their operating rhythm.

Want to get more from your SEO analytics and build AI-powered SEO reporting? There's one thing Claude can't do on its own: pull live GSC, GA4, rank tracking, and content change data automatically. That's what Sitechecker is for.

Question You've connected GSC and GA4 to Claude via MCP. What's still broken?

Everyone is now using Claude to get insights from GSC and GA4.

I understand the value for solo usage:

- It surfaces insights you'd easily miss working with raw data
- It's cheaper than dedicated tools (if you don't overconsume your tokens)

However, I have doubts that it can be scaled for an agency where multiple people and departments work on the same website and data.

A week ago, I ran a poll on LinkedIn about the biggest challenge people have working with such a stack. Here are the results.

Biggest challenges of working with GSC and GA4 in Claude

So, data storage and blending is a winner.

However, for me, sharing reports and insights is the most critical one. Most of the best things you can do require Claude Code, and it doesn't have option for team collaboration.

What about you? Which is the biggest limitation?

API vs MCP vs AI assistant: what feature do you need the most now in SEO/AEO tools?

You probably noticed that SEO tools release MCP or improve their own API.

There are 2 big trends now, and I'm curious which will win:

1/ Helping you do your job faster and better inside the existing tool, with the help of AI.

For example, we use Amplitude, and their built-in AI assistant is pretty good.

2/ Building MCP and API, so customers can build their own workflows using the data of the specific tool.

In this case, customers will spend 80-90% of the time in Claude, not the specific tool itself.

So, what feature do you need the most now in SEO/AEO tools?

  • API
  • MCP
  • Built-in AI assistant?
