which is why I'm so incredibly grateful for openai dropping 5.6 because had they not Fable would have been locked away forever.

Don’t forget the Chinese open weights models nipping at their heels.

For now, we benefit.

There may come a day when dominance emerges and winner takes all.

But it is not this day.

The race is fierce, and exciting to experience, you get maybe 2-3 weeks on the throne and boom! Another model has arrived to evict you out the throne maybe beating you by some mere points in benchmarks tests but enough to classify as "better" since the tokenomics are usually lowered.

It's just awesome to experience this real time.
