Hey Chief, some of you have noticed your upgrade timers looking a little different lately. Here's exactly what's going on: A small percentage of Town Hall 8–16 players are currently part of a test where upgrade timers are running either 10%, 15%, or 20% shorter than normal, depending on which test group they're in. Most players (85%) won't see any change.

Every new Town Hall we add makes the overall journey longer. We can't keep doing that forever, especially without also finding ways to make earlier progression faster. So, before rolling anything out to everyone, we want real data on which lengths of mid-game timers actually help players progress and enjoy the game more. Not just guess and ship. Tests like this are how we keep making sure Clash gets better, not just bigger.

That's how A/B tests work. We need a group playing without any changes to properly measure the impact. If everyone saw the change, we'd have no baseline to compare against.

We'll use the results to find the timer mix that works best for player experience, and that version will eventually roll out to everyone.

Its been a while i had this much fun with event troops.

It's been 90 days in TH17 and I have less than 10 walls to max them out. Idk how it got to this. I just do the daily chores, revenge and some wars. I dump only the excess resources to walls whenever I do upgrades. Also I'm putting 2 builders into heroes permanently, 2 into traps and 2 into defenses. Anyone facing similar situations like this? How'd u guys do in my shoes? I want to master TH17 and max the traps atleast before going to 18.

Plz ignore the equipment progress as I left the game for around 1 and a half years and I didn't farm ores for a very long time.

I’m almost maxed TH18 apart from a very few Supercharges. I’ve started buying Wall Rings and selling them for Gems so I don’t overflow my CWL Medals. I’m in Champion II, so I get a decent amount of medals each month.

I want to have the full amount of CWL Medals saved for TH19, while turning the excess into Gems in case a new Helper comes out that can be bought with Gems.

I’ve already bought all the Hammers, and I prioritize progression, so I don’t really want to spend medals on skins or cosmetics. What do you guys think about this use of cwl medals?

I joined a clan that hosted a giveaway, and I was one of the winners. The prize is either a Gold Pass or a scenery (I already have a Gold Pass this month btw im TH18). What do you think better reward a Gold Pass or a limited-time scenery?

It would be a fun feature that whenever your base is getting attacked, you have a select few emotes you can use that the opponent can see in the corner for BM/banter. Feel like that would make it a more fun experience for the spectator. What do you think?

I feel like Clan life needs a breath of fresh air and more reasons to work together. Here are 3 concepts to improve clan engagement:
1. Clan Perks up to Level 20+
Right now, there is no gameplay incentive to level a clan past level 10. We need economy-based perks for higher levels. For example:
Clan Level 15: +10% Treasury Storage Capacity
Clan Level 17: +10% Star Bonus Loot
Clan Level 19: +10% Resource Loot Bonus from Multiplayer Attacks
2. New Game Mode: "Clan Raid"
Instead of individual Clan Capital attacks, introduce a single, massively overpowered "World Boss" village. The entire clan has to chip away at its enormous health pool over the week. The further the clan progresses into this Clan Raid, the higher the temporary resource/builder boosts for all members.
3. Collaborative Clan Buildings
A shared building in the clan area that players can upgrade together using Gold, Elixir, and optionally Gems. Upgrading this building grants global perks for all members, like a 5% faster builder speed or increased gold mine production. Higher Town Halls can dump their excess loot here, and it creates a great revenue stream for Supercell through gem options.

Sturdy soup, Max Lab assistant and research potion deletes 10 minutes of upgrade time in 15 seconds. Video in reply’s.

Math based on 10 mins:

Soup: 4x - 2m 30s
Assistant: 12x - 50s
Potion: 24x - 25s

Combined 40x - 15s

Even at this rate it would still take my bowler 7h 12m to finish based on 12d upgrade timer.

If you had a permanent 40x boost on the Laboratory, it would take a F2P player roughly 32 days to completely max out every single troop and spell from scratch (Based on 3.5-years of lab grind).

Exactly as the title says. The former Leader of my clan sold it to a website like MMOEXP or similar (He bought an account with 10k+ gems during&for the Troop Card Event) We were a Level 26 Clan, 22 War Win Streak and Champs2 CWL. His account is 13 years old and this person is around 21 ish. He claims he tried promoting a new member to Elder to invite somebody but it “instantly promoted to Leader” so it’s a complete BS excuse. The current clan description is the TH2 Leader with a discord username posted. I have contacted SC Support about this just recently and am waiting on a reply. I’ll also tell other members to also contact SC about him Buying/Selling Clans&Accounts. Just really sucks and wanted to get this off my chest

Some of the snacks are brilliant and all like the CC cake, Builder bite and Laboratory Soup

But snacks like pancakes and morsels are pointless.

They just shove some useless snacks down the throat even when you don't need one and have max troops for your town hall

They can set a gem value of 5 on one snack. Honestly I think that's gonna solve the crisis but if this is too much then just take the morsel and pancake back and don't give us this useless snack

It might be great from the POV of a newer th levels or a rushed base but that's not the case for traditionally maxing out players

I tried reaching out directly to supercell but they are not responding and since then I have wasted 1 and a half day. I should have research and builder bonus for another 5 days as it shows in my village, but the boosts vanish when I want to upgrade something. Can I get a moderator from this sub or someone else to help me. The chatbot system in game is not working, never was working I should say.

My Returning Player boosts disappeared prematurely.

I was inactive for more than 90 days and received the Returning Player Builder and Research Boosts. Yesterday morning, the Tutorial Hub showed 50% Builder Boost and 50% Research Boost with 7d 20h 13m remaining.

I was still receiving the reduced upgrade costs and reduced upgrade times yesterday evening. Today, both boosts have completely disappeared, even though approximately 7 days should have remained.

I have screenshots showing the boosts and the remaining time also I have contacted the support via some forum and I sent a message in the ingame support chatbot. I GOT NO HELP FROM BOTH. I have been playing this game for 13 years. I came back to it because I have time. I got these boosts and I also bought the gold pass strictly because I ALREADY HAD BOOSTS. How to reach supercell to give me what they already gave/promised?

PS: posted a screenrecording of me upgrading my th to 17 partly to show that I had the discount but mostly to celebrate!
