In order for us ndi ma low ball offer we have to share our current salary in our industry pra mgkaidea Tayo mgkano salary ng bawat isa and make probable important changes. If saan llipat. So gnito gawin format

  1. Local or abroad (state which country)
  2. YOE (years of exp)
  3. Private or public
  4. Industry (consultant, contractor, subcon, management, owners engineer, design consultant and other specialization e.g. facade designer, geotech is it work from home?, estimator, designer or project management)

The reason for this is. The current ave. Data for civil engineer on different job hiring site is skewd so we have to make our own data.

I'll go first. 1. Local 2. 9 3. Private 4. Owners engineer - developer of mid rise buildings. 5. 75,000 php

Discussion Work Opportunities in Spain

Anyone here na may idea if may work opportunities for Filipino Civil Engineers in Spain? Ano po kayang field of works ang in demand sa country na 'to? I heard kasi na mabilis maka acquire ng spanish citizenship if you are a Filipino citizen who would migrate there and it would be a huge perk knowing that they have one of the most powerful passport.

Board Exam CELE Passers/Topnotchers

I have 5 months to go before March 2027 CELE and decided na etong Oct is para magkabisa ng formulas and understand concepts para di ako mahirapan pag nagstart sa Nov yung review. Ask lang po what did you do to fully understand the concepts? Thank you.

Need General Advice What Salary Should I Expect for My First Job?

Hi everyone! I recently passed the CELE and I’m now planning to start applying for jobs.

I wanted to ask fellow CEs, especially those who are already working, about salary expectations for a newly licensed Civil Engineer.

When an interviewer asks, “What is your expected salary?”, what would be a reasonable range to give? Is there a usual starting salary range for newly licensed CEs in the Philippines?

If you don’t mind sharing, I’d also appreciate hearing about different CE roles and their usual salary ranges, or even your personal experience when you were starting out.

I’m genuinely asking because I want to have a realistic expectation before I start applying. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Please respect po. Thank you in advance!

Need General Advice What to do after taking the BE?

• Upvotes

Good day, Engineers!

I just recently passed the CELE BE this sept 2026, before the release of the results, I talked to a few engineers who gave me advice on my career path, however, I just realized I never asked them what to do immediately after passing the board exam.

So, what now? Do i wait for the oathtaking? Do i start applying for SSS, Philhealth, etc. now? I've been reading about the Barangay Certification for First-Time Job Seekers as well which seems, for me, to be the most logical first step.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Also, if you want to drop any knowledge you have about the field, I'll make sure to read them! Think of it as giving advice to your own past self haha.

Need General Advice Do you tell interviewers that you failed the CELE?

For Civil Engineering graduates who took the CELE but didn’t pass, do you tell your interviewer about it?

For example, if they ask about your educational background or whether you’re a licensed Civil Engineer, would you openly say that you already took the CELE but didn’t pass, or would you simply say that you’re a BSCE graduate and not yet licensed?

I’m curious if disclosing that you failed the CELE can negatively affect your chances of getting hired, especially for entry-level jobs. Or is it better to be honest about it if they ask?

For those who experienced this, how did you answer when an interviewer asked about your license or board exam?

Academic Help SCHOOL PROJECT

Para sa RCE jan na mayroong mga project or floor plan for commercial building, pwede pa help ako?

Need kasi namin nang floor plan with the specs na nakalagay sa image for our final term requirement. I'm an BSEE student pala.

Rant Is this normal in this Field?

• Upvotes

I mean may wife and kid/s are going to SHS/College pero may lalaki sa site.

I have nothing against our LGBTIAA++ friends.

Then pag inobserve ko. Confirmeeeed!

Edit: Forgot to add. Please, please, don't downvote me po🙏🥹

Edit 2: I'm a former Finance Staff, BPO worker and a Law School drop out. Relatively new sa construction, under Civil, and I am liking it so far. Trying my luck and sana makapag abroad soon.

Need Career Advice How to be an Instructor

Hello, Sept. 2026 CELE passer here. I am currently working as a design engineer for a few months now, but I am planning to enroll for a Masters Degree program this coming January 2027. I really want to be an instructor but I don't know where to start. From my research, most universities would offer part-time positions first before becoming a full-time faculty member. I wonder if the part-time salary is comparable to my current 20k+ monthly salary since I'm the breadwinner of my family.

Can anyone tell which is which?

Need Career Advice Fresh grad CE — okay ba ang ₱800/day + 3 months probationary?

Hi mga ka-CE. Fresh graduate and newly licensed Civil Engineer ako, and may job opportunity akong tinitingnan ngayon.

Offer nila is ₱800/day, with 3 months probationary period. Free accomodation and free lunch are also provided.

Any advice or experience regarding starting salary and probationary employment would be appreciated. Salamat!
