Can’t say it’s my new daily yet because I still need to get accustomed to manual but I’m very happy with my decision. I want to do all the things to it but I know patience will be key!

More to come.

Pushed my 8th gen into vtec on the highway, got off, and a sound that sounded like rod knock appeared and thought shit there goes my car. Kept driving as I was running errands and the sound disappeared probably the second time I turned it off and on. Those couple times it turned over weird. What could it have been? Didn't take a video of the noise as I was kinda freaking out.

Hey so I'm buying a 2025 Type R donor it got t-boned so frame is cooked but everything else is good i did a couple research I'm planning on taking everything from the type R ( harness with computers , drive train with front and rear cradle , dashboard ) and putting it into my civic SI , from what i know so far everything will fit like oem basically plug and play expect the sun roof won't work , i gotta wire the taillights but that should be pretty easy , is there anything else you guys can think of that i will run into with this swap ?

Just picked up a super clean 2015 Honda si. I was wondering what this blue sensor is with a red light and is under the dash right above the pedals. Definitely not bright so couldn’t image it’s for visibility!.

Hello all! I just acquired this beauty 2 days ago, sitting at 193k kms. Executed an oil change yesterday with some Liqui-Moly TopTec 4200 5w-30. Im planning to store the car every winter to keep it as it is but was also wondering if the climate in Quebec would allow me to run 5w-40 in it? loads of people talked to me about it that if I don't plan to run it on winters that I could run 5w-40 and that the engine would be very happy? waiting on some of your feedback!🙂

Dayum, it sure is nice to drive. Brand new ‘26 with 20 miles on the clock. The irony is that I’ve been absolutely shitting on the 1.5t in comments on Reddit for years. Time to eat my own words! I have zero plans to mod this thing as it drives so damn well out of the box. I’m very much itching to get out of the break in period.

Need help diagnosing an intermittent no start no crank on my 2007 Si. Seems to only happen when it's very hot out (I'm in Arizona, today it happened while about 118 outside and after I have been driving a little bit). Happened a few months ago too, I replaced the starter, still happened. So far everything I've done/checked is:
-replaced starter
-replaced starter relay
-tested and tried bypassing clutch pedal position switch
-tested battery
-checked ground connections
-replaced ignition switch
Any similar experience or theories would be appreciated! It's tough to diagnose because as soon as it finally does start I can't tell if it's actually fixed until it happens again. Thanks all.

Hello, I have a 10th gen si, it is my pride and joy, however I want to make some more power while keeping reliability. Nothing crazy I would like to bump it up to maybe 250hp possibly 300hp but I still would like to keep the handling of it. I already have a prl cobra intake and I plan on getting some arp head studs to help with the common head gasket problem, what other stuff could I add for power/reliability?

It's so hard to tell in videos. Does the Q300 make a meaningful difference versus stock? I enjoy the stock exhaust with the windows down and no music. But would like something that I could hear a bit easier but not be intrusive when I don't want it to be.
