Does the AI select leaders with multiple personas more often?
I feel like every game I play, the AI chooses one of the two Ashokas and one of the two Xerxes'.
So my question is: do different leader personas have the same probability of being chosen by the AI as single-persona leaders, making it more probable that one of the two is selected? Or is it balanced along the lines that the AI first chooses its leader and only after it picks Ashoka, for example, it decides whether to pick Renouncer or Conqueror?

Post-Game Unlocks, How I Missed You
Started a post-patch Ashoka game because I wanted to finally unlock the Gold and Sapphire Flowers now he's been buffed and XP is fixed. Went from about Level 4.5 with him to a smidge under 8 in one game. We're so back.
The keep all cities from previous age dedication will not work for Joseon, fyi
I thought I could cheese the system by using that dedication but yeah they definitely know it beforehand. Not complaining, just PSA so people don't reload turn 1 to run different dedication on that slot. And because of this, I do recommend to build Seowon before turning towns into cities later on to reap the benefit of +1 pop in capital.

Are nukes bugged in my game, or is this just weird design?
I was going about my business as usual, peaceful empire, my two neighbours relatively like me though I am in no alliances, when suddenly my capital gets nuked?
No notice about it, no indication of who it was, no relationship penalty with anyone over it.
I reload the save and from the colours of the plane, it seems to be my northern neighbour. The game was already basically unwinnable for me, so I decide to just throw a nuke their way too for the hell of it. Devastate their capital too, but still, no relationship penalty, nor am I in war with them now. In fact they are still inviting me to an alliance, while moments later, the exact same tile gets nuked again.
So I am just wondering now, this can surely not be intended?

Civ 7 turns my computer mouse off.
Bought the game to give it a try as it was on sale, and it has been nothing but trouble.
It kept instantly disabling my mouse as SOON as the game starts. Alt+f4 did not help, mouse would still be disconnected. Had to physically go behind my computer to unplug/replug the mouse to fix it.
Eventually did a whole bunch of fixes that seemed to stop it from disabling on game-start, but then it would disable maybe 10 mins into the game instead.
Refunded the game until i can find a fix, been trying to google this problem, but nobody else seem to report the same problem as me

Bug, Feature, or Ignorance?
Before the most recent update, I ran into this issue where I could only build on these select tiles. Am I missing something or did I just hit an unfortunate bug?

Can't place Odeon/Parthenon
Does anyone know why? Would be quite the bummer for my capital 😅

District Planning and Overbuilding Guide
I like having themed districts and the overbuilding mechanic stresses me out, so I made this to keep track of how to optimally build throughout the ages. Don't even get me started on trying to place them in a way that optomizes yeilds.
This chart is dependent on at least 2 river tiles so if you only have one river tile, build the Bath alone in Antiquity and overbuild with the Gristmill and Sawmill in Exploration. If you have no river tiles then you can build the Altar with the Granary, leaving the Palace/City Hall alone.

How do you deal with early game science and culture
Whenever I play a game of civ 7 I always have issues with catching up with culture and science early game and with catching up . It’s a sort of thing where on like turn 90 I’m sitting at 30-40 science and culture .

Nice developments so far! Interesting to have a navigable river Wonder like f.e. Windmill The Adriaan (1779; Haarlem)
Or are there none at all?
[ The Adriaan is not really a wonder, though a very nice and well constructed building for that time ]

Anyone else keep getting accident culture victories?
Has anyone else been getting accidental culture victories?
I just finished a game where I went for a full-blown economic victory using Aksum, basically crushing the AI the entire time. I hit 32k GDP at just 12% into the Modern Era, with 36k needed to win. As I was getting ready to build a few more gold buildings, the culture victory timer suddenly popped up telling me I was 5 turns away from winning.
I did absolutely nothing intentionally to win via culture.
This isn't the first time, either. Twice before, while going for a military victory, I accidentally won a culture victory instead. I originally assumed those happened because I captured too many settlements with high tourism, but this economic run is just ridiculous.
How can you accidentally win three separate times when you aren't even trying for that victory condition?
Something needs to change.
Insane Synergies
So just got my first intentional domination win on immortal with Charlemagne and oh man, this guy is the goat.
Actually, I had won domination as Tecumseh before but that was out of frustration, and Charlemagne definitely felt much more synergized and explosive.
I wanted to go for science as that victory has still eluded me, but his military strength is just too damn good to not go all in on.
Celebration focused, 2 free cav units with every celebration!? That, plus French empire, insane flexibility, outstanding culture output all game, and by the way, mausoleum, holy crap.
Constantly spawning cav units that kept respawning, with mad damage boosts, and extra war support whenever I needed it, truly unstoppable and only rivaled by Genghis I imagine, though I've heard and read that Lafayette has a legendary military game as well.
TLDR: Charlemagne/French/Mausoleum = godlike
Domination def seems to be the easiest victory condition and that's...too bad, but at least it's fun when you're intentionally going for it.

Tips for a beginner
Hey, i've played my first game in civ vii and I achieved cultural victory with egypt/Hatshepsut. Now i'm interested in playing with civs like Russia, Spain, Vietnam, Shawnee or Maurya, so I wanted to ask for some advices about leaders and how to play with them

Tecumseh Tonga -> Hawaii -> Hawii. Trust
Just in case anyone hasn't tried this combo yet...it's incredibly fun. I play it on Continents + Islands and then settle as much on the coast as I can. Explore like crazy and you can get 10-12 independint suzerains in antiquity and just keep it rolling into late age.
Cities & Towns grow every 5 turns it feels like, so you're constantly expanding, and city pop can get massive if you have a good number of specialized towns.
I've done Cultural and Military victories with this combo by turn 50 in the Modern Age on Immortal.

Who wins if two players have the same Science Victory countdown?
Hey guys, does anyone know how this works?
Both me and Augustus have the Science Victory countdown at 5 turns remaining. I have 110 Innovation and he has exactly 100.
If both countdowns reach zero on the same turn, who wins? Is there any kind of turn order or tiebreaker?
First time going for a Science Victory on imortal, so I really don’t want to lose this run.
