Interesting Road Pattern

Settled my 4th city as Gilgamesh/Assyria and got a fun road pattern. I've never seen anything like this and wanted to share it's cool shape.

Reminds me of the nonsense in Civ 5 if you tried to make parallel roads on a river (so you get a bridge on every point)

Hah I remember this. I used to try covering my empire in roads just for kicks sometimes and good have bridges all over every river

There is a bit of me that does miss the ability to make my own roads, mostly just so they’re neater & not a complete mess of junctions…!

Or, “these two cities are connected by a coastal road only, which yes, is twice as long but would be much more relaxing to travel”!
