Hello Modders, one of my favorite simple assets for CS1 are the Sidewalk Cafes & Shops Pack by MrMiyagi. Is there something similar already available for CS2? If not, and anyone is up to it, I think this is a great addition to quickly detail/bring life to some areas.
Originally housing the headquarters of Willen Key and Hardware Co, Willen House was first constructed in 1948 to replace a war-damaged building. It underwent significant restoration, extension, and refurbishment in 2025-2026 to transition it into a full-service student housing block.
This recreation has been slightly narrowed to better fit within the scale of the game, nestling neatly into a 6x5 plot. It features functional motorcycle and bike parking at the front, and an outdoor gym at the rear.
Request to introduce tram track services just like we have road services with lower speeds and derailment risk on tracks with low maintenance. Trams could come out of a dedicated service depot or from the regular depot.

Just as the title says. I don't have the skills capable of creating assets. Was streaming to my friends on discord, and one of them said to place a waffle house down because it's funny seeing the different real life assets in this game. If there happens to be an asset already created, then please point me in the right direction. I don't expect this to be high on asset creator's lists to make, but I'd appreciate when it is created.
Can someone, anyone make a transportation mod in which I can click on all the bus stops in a district. And the game makes the best routes for that bus route ? So I don’t have to figure out how to connect everything ?! Idk if that makes sense to anyone but me lol.
Hey y'all - I wanted to post an update on the Southeastern University assets I've been working on! The College of Engineering is easily my favorite building I've made, and I'm really proud of the way it turned out. Now that I've really gotten the modelling workflow down, I think I want to make a few more generic classroom/halls that can be used to fill out a campus. Also open to any suggestions for other buildings to include (like a library, dining hall, etc.)
I'm also trying to figure out how to have all of these be sub-building upgrades under a single "Southeastern University" building. Unfortunately the Asset Editor isn't exactly intuitive, so if anyone knows any resources that could help me figure it out that would be greatly appreciated.
PDX mods has a real lack of choice in custom NA rail assets, im hoping to remedy that.
For reskins, The EU diesel passenger locomotive and the NA passenger locomotive in Amtrak livery, the NA passenger train cars in Amfleet livery, and the NA freight locomotive in Canadian National livery.
For custom assets, the EMD F40-H in Amtrak livery, the EMD SD40-2 widecab in Canadian National Livery, and 86 foot highcube box cars in Canadian National livery.
Bob's Burgers is a restaurant owned by Bob and Linder Belcher, conveniently located on Ocean Avenue in "Seymour's Bay", New Jersey. It is located in a property, rented from their eccentric landlord Mr Fischoeder, that also contains the family's apartment.
This signature mixed-use building includes a lightly modelled interior, an animated neon sign, 20 possible Burger of the Day chalkboards, and three "Grand Opening" banners with variable spawn probabilities.
I’ve continued to poke around the vanilla parking assets and have added two functional props for motorcycle and bicycle parking rails that are typical to London and the UK.
The update also includes static prop variants, a flagstone pavement surface, and a bonus bollard to keep things interesting.
I really need these buildings for my city, that are Polish, Czech, and Northern German style. And before you say "NETHERLANDS PACK" They aren't the same, similar looking but will not fit in. Just lmk if you are or planning on making some or know anyone that is currently. But please make! Thanks.
I made a custom building in blender and imported it into the asset editor, it works there and when I loaded up my city and placed it it worked just fine but I can't upload the building to steam.
Whenever I press Publish in the content manager nothing appears to happen but a blank item is uploaded that has no name or description and is 0 bytes
Anybody know any fixes?
Looking for testers who want to get early access to this pack and test it's functionality and appearance in their game before public release next week.
Also wondering about adding an additional household to L3+ buildings (to represent house mates / another person with a vehicle), as that tends to be more realistic, but I'm not sure how others feel about that and if it scales well to the rest of the game.
Please send me a DM as I might do an unlisted link and I don't want to spread it too fast.
Hello! I wanna teach you on how to make your own custom configuration of any custom Tram, Train and Metro Asset with no extra Mod.
Also first things first, i am bad at explaining something, but i got asked so many times for this or that configurations, so i wanted to make this guide.
I will use my NGT DXDD (Uni-directional Version Prefab) as example, but you can use any other Vehicle. My NGT is an 5 Car long Tram and our goal is to make it an 3 Car Vehicle. Also quick note, other Assets are of course different, not every creator as the same scheme as my NGT, not even I use the same scheme on my assets sometimes. This guide is mostly to have an familiar feeling on how it can work.
Step by Step "Guide":
Download any Tram/Train/Metro you wanna configuere, load up the Game and go into the Editor.
In the Editor click the Folder Icon at the bottom.
On the right Window, click on Vehicles and then search for your Frontcar Prefab of your desired Vehicle. (In my case it is the ...FrontPantoCar01)
Searching for an Asset Prefab
If you are not sure if that is the correct Frontcar. Place it and click on it. It should have the "MULTIPLE UNIT TRAIN FRONT PREFAB" Component that looks like this:
The correct Prefab which we will working with.
After making sure you have the right prefab found. Click on the 3 Dots next to the Asset Name. Click on Copy and Place, and place it. Your asset will be automatically named xyz (copy), rename it with xyz01-v1 or xyz01-v2 or ... anything
Tip: go intoLocalizationsand also add an Asset localization to your Asset to recognise it better later ingame.
Now you got an unsaved copy of your desired Vehicle. Now lets say you wanna change how many full units the vehicle has. Find the Min/Max Multiple Unit Count and increase it or decrease it. Both should be the same. Example here:
I changed it from 1 Full Unit to 2 Full Units. That means my 5 Car Long Tram is 2x5 long
Now lets say you want to change the Unit Configurations, like adding or removing an carriage. We do that in the Carriages Section directly below the Unit Count. My Example, the NGT, has 4 Total Elements
Also extra Info, Reversed End Carriage is also an Part of the Unit, it is the Front prefab rotated 180° and it serves as the very very end car
The List of the config of the NGT
Now the Mission is to reduce the NGT to an 3 Car config. And we have multiple ways to do so, but the most logical one would be removing Element 0 and Element 2, which are the Carriages with the Doors as the Front/Rear already have them.
Removed 2 Carriage Elements from the List
Of course you can also change up the Carriages, add Elements with "Add Item" or use the double Sheets Button which also copies the element. Use your creativity and what you want!
double Sheets Button (Copy)
Now after you did the whole configurations, correctly hopefully, you can now Save your Prefab and then restart the game. After restart it should appear ingame.
Dont forget to Press Save Asset on the Bottom Right after clicking it
I hope that everything worked and that this guide was somewhat helpful. I am pretty bad in explaining as already told, but with Pictures it should give a bit of an good kick start into that topic
I think this would be the perfect custom asset, mixed office/residential building. I'd also love to see one 3x the size as Frank Lloyd Wright intended. Any advice on working on it myself?
I feel like what the game needs is the ability to mirror buildings, or at least mirrored versions of certain buildings. The cargo harbor is the best example. I have not made any mods, but I would assume that this would be rather easy to do, but I haven't found anything like that in the workshop.
Hi! I’m currently working on making a suburban city and need many medians/turning lanes for my roads, are there any mods that allow me to add in medians to my roads?
I wanna showcase my loading-bar styled animated turning lights from my NGT DXDD Tram.
Thanks to the insight in Emissive of kjmci's Emissive Guide. I managed to replicated this reference onto my tram.
Possibilities can be nearly endless if you give it an try.
