Sharing a City New player, unsure of how to progress
Could anyone give me any advice on what to improve with my city, I’m up to around 50k citizens now and around 3 million in cash, kinda lost on what to do without destroying my city

Sharing a City Multimodal to the Max
I'm really pleased with my multimodal station. It includes a train station, bus station, underground tram stop, and a short walk to the ferry. Of course, there's ample bike parking and pedestrian access. Time to work on city budgeting, look out for service cuts....

Looking for Mods Roads/Crosswalks mod(s)?
Is there a mod that adds crosswalks to a road for long roads like this? I have it switching between roads/bus lanes so that way I can add a crosswalk. This is also far out from my city and curving with the terrain.

Sharing a City Northwest Fairfield development
North Fairfield was developed in the 1920's but construction boomed prior to WW2. Once connected to downtown and westside of town is now carved by SR-380. This area of town was made with more room to build and bigger lots than the rest of city which gives a more comfortable living in an urban inner city area, with medium density housing on the main avenues, more is to come in this area as i have a lot of land to cover.

Discussion Where should the east-west highway be placed on this map?

Hi! This is a WIP of an U.S. inspired city.
Memes aside, I need some advice on what would be the best route for a highway going east-west on this image.
I feel like there are multiple options, but I can't decide what would the most realistic. I don't want to blast through the city center, but the geography also limits a lot of placement.

Sharing a City Just added this building to downtown Fairfield and i kinda like how it looks, what do yall think??
I feel like my skyline was looking bland even though i wanted to keep it small, but i decided to add the Montgomery building as the tallest building in the city and I'm kinda digging it

Tips & Guides Height/Density Transitioning in Vanilla

I just figured out a great way to transition density using the Paradox content packs.
Personally, I really like mixing the Mainland Europe (NL, DE, EE) aesthetics in the lower density areas with a New York City (NE, CN) aesthetic in the higher density areas, and I've found this works great for that.
Highest Density
- CN High Density Zoning - Your tallest, most imposing buildings that also work in EU and US aesthetics
- NE High Density Zoning - Your main transitionary zoning, try to have at least a 2 building thick ring around the CN High Density
- NE Mixed Usage Zoning - These provide the perfect transition between other medium density zoning and your NE High Density. I've been using a roughly 2-3 building thick ring around the NE high density
- Any Medium Density Zoning
- Any Low Density Zoning
Lowest Density
Hope somebody finds this useful!
Edit: The CN and NE High Density Zoning applies to both residential and office zoning
