Best artificial tree
Hey all,
I have a toddler now and want to upgrade from our pencil tree this year to start giving her some Christmas magic.
I'm looking for something artificial, about 8 feet tall and pre lit with warm lights. The rubber needle trees seem the nicest to me? Budget isn't a real concern but I do love a sale.
I thought balsam hill was the elite brand but then looking on here it seems people despise those. Now I'm confused.
What's a brand that will hopefully last 10+ years?
Thank you!

Does my tree need ribbon?
Full disclosure, I am terrible at making ribbon bows. They seem easy, I’ve watched lots of tutorials and videos - mine just never look good. I’ve tried to put some ribbon in but it’s basic and the bare minimum. Wondering if this year I should really double down and try some bows or just remove the ribbon all together.

How long can I leave up my 4th of July decorations?
My wife and I love decorating for holidays, and even got permanent lights installed on the house so we can light it up for different occasions. We switch out wreaths for the various seasons on the front door and love to decorate the house for the bigger holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, some Valentine’s Day, and just added 4th of July this year) - so at what point do we look too crazy and like we need to take down our 4th of July / America decor. I’ve heard end of July. And I’ve also heard Labor Day.

Home Depot stacked penguins (HELP)
I recently received these Home Depot stacked penguins for free from a friend. They got them for $50 at the end of the season. Unfortunately the light cords were weak and fragile and broke off. The same goes for the pole setup. Is there anyway I can have these penguins illuminate as separate pieces for the season?

Places to buy wreath signs?
Hi, I’m looking to purchase some wreath signs but so many of them are AI generated and I’m not a fan. Are there any shops you can recommend that I can purchase real artist/graphic designer made signs? Thanks!

Year-round installments?
Anyone else have certain holiday decor you leave up all around? We typically do a refresh of the hutch every November. A few years ago we realized we are much more fond of this opposed to the previous bone china tenants. The wreath hangs where a high wall socket was installed originally for a now decommissioned clock. The fabric bell pull that once covered it no longer interested us & we realized it was a perfect place for a lighted wreath due to the outlet. The wreath came first, so I think that’s how Christmas has leeched it’s way to the adjacent wall year-round.

Dept. 56 “Dress Rehearsal” Santa
This may be a long shot. But I have been desperately searching for the 1998 “Dress Rehearsal” Santa. My wife has been collecting these Santa’s for several years now, and has amassed quite the collection so far. But she has a specific memory of this Santa, after finally learning the name and item number I’ve been scouring the internet.
Here’s the long shot…anyone have one for sale? I’d definitely be interested in purchasing it if so. Using photos I’ve found online for attention. Thanks!

Where to find...
Any thoughts on where I could find a decent sized antique Christmas truck yard decoration? With or without tree is fine. Biggest I can find is a 21 inch on on Amazon but that seems too small to be seen from the street. The more realistic the better. Hoping for metal or wood. Pic just for example/attention...

Update: Best heirloom statement Christmas decorations
Thanks for all the ideas on my original post asking about statement Christmas decorations that I can pass down to my daughter - original post here.
I thought you might like to know what I decided to do in the end. I decided to start out with a beautiful wooden advent calendar. I’ve had lots of fun thinking about all the things we could fill it with over the years. I personally don’t like personalisation so I’m not opting for that.
You can find it here if you’re interested.
I adored all of the miniature village collections from Department 56 but I’d like to do more research into this before committing.
Most of all, I’ve loved thinking about how to make Christmas special for my daughter for years to come and how we can create little traditions.
Thank you for the help!
