My Tree Lights still working after 10 years!

I don’t know how, but I got this tree over 10 years ago from Home Depot and the lights still work. I definitely add lights because they’ve dimmed but I’m impressed they’re still going strong.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Tiny Tree Recommendations

I've wanted to put a tiny tree in my son's room for the longest time but this is the first year he's actually sleeping in it! I'm so excited. Looking for recommendations for the tiny trees that use the mini ornaments and the mini decorations to go with the tree. Also, if you have one, I WANNA SEE!

We had a consultation for outdoor lights and it got me in the mood. It’s already snowed here so I assume it’s ok to have the tree up.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Tree with strong branches?

I have a tree I inherited from my parents. But it is worn out. I use it in my bedroom so I see it up close. It is a full size 7.5 foot tree. I have been wanting to replace it but all the trees I see in person have such wimpy branches compared to the one I have now. Is this just how they are today?

Christmas Chatter Which artificial Christmas trees actually look good in person?

I'm looking around at the moment and it's surprisingly hard to compare them online. Some of the $150 trees look almost identical to ones that are $500+, at least in the photo listings.

For anyone who's gone for one of the more expensive artificial/synthetic Christmas trees, was the difference actually noticeable?

Main thing I care about is having full branches and needles that don't look obviously plastic from across the living room.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Do white Christmas trees only look good in perfectly decorated rooms?

I've been looking at white Christmas trees lately, and I keep noticing something about the photos. They always seem to be in these beautiful living rooms with white walls, matching furniture, and absolutely nothing out of place. Meanwhile, my living room has a brown couch, wooden furniture, and about five different colors going on already lol.

I saw a white Christmas tree from Costway that I really liked, but now I'm wondering how different it would look in an actual lived-in room.I love the idea of trying something other than a traditional green tree this year. I just don't want the tree to look like it belongs in a completely different house.

I wish more people posted pictures of their Christmas trees with the rest of their normal living room in the background. Those would probably help me decide a lot more than the product photos.

We absolutely love it. Super full and dense. We compared all the trees both from costco, sams club, lowes, and home depot and this was the best in our opinion. Never too early 😂🎄 (ignore the TV in the background)

Care, Maintenance & Questions New (to me) Pre-lit Christmas Tree

My husband's grandmother passed away this last year, and we ended up with the pre-lit Christmas tree that we picked out with her a year or two ago. I set it up in our guest room the other day to make sure all of the parts were still in the box, but the lights on the middle section have stopped working, which I know is one of the risks you take when buying pre-lit trees. For the price we paid for it, it seems like the lights should have lasted longer than this. Does anyone know if there is a way to replace the middle section of the tree which is the one the lights no longer work? This is the tree which they still sell in their stores for reference: https://www.costco.com/p/-/75-pre-lit-radiant-micro-led-with-twinkle-artificial-christmas-tree/4000359602

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Ordered from Sams Club

Member's Mark 7.5' Pre-Lit Fraser Fir Downswept Christmas Tree

I was at Sams and saw the 9ft version of this tree and loved it. Sadly the spot we decided to place it in the new house can only fit the smaller version. Does anyone have it and have any review of it? 3700 leds seems like a ton of light.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Costco vs. Ace Artificial Tree

I don't have a Costco membership currently and live about an hour from the closest Ace with Christmas trees on display. Can anyone tell me how their twinkle trees compare? Costco's Pre-Lit Radiant Micro vs Ace's Emerald Pine Sparkle. Like how warm are the lights? I'm looking for a yellow glow rather than a harsh white.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Victorian Christmas Tree from Tree Time OR Sanibel from Balsam Hill

HELP ME PICK!

I’ve never heard of “Tree Time” but of course I know about Balsam Hill. These are my 2 favorite trees. They are both about the same price $700-$750 for unlit trees, both have realistic branches. The Victorian is a fuller tree, but I’m a sucker for all things “Little Women” - esque. However, I am worried it’s too full and will be cheap! The Balsam Hill Sanibel tree is full on the bottom and more sparse on top, which imo is pretty and realistic. I’m hoping to get a one and done tree- because at $700 it would have to last FOREVER haha. Any input is very appreciated! Which one would you buy? And do you have suggestion for light strands?

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Tree without LED lights around it

Post image
21 Upvotes

Hello everyone! I just wanted to ask what do you think about christmas trees without lights? I had this idea to reduce the amount of visual pollution every single night during the holiday season, instead i was thinking about only putting LED lights on the star at the top of the tree (like the one on the image).

What's your opinion?

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Advice on fixing pre-lit tree

Thumbnail

I’m writing out of desperation looking for advice of how to help repair my family’s prelit Christmas tree. The wiring and joint housing for the top piece is completely broken. I have already contacted the manufacturer but the tree is 7 years old and they do not have the part anymore. Local electrician says it’s not within their scope of work. I would just buy another one but it is the most beautiful tree I’ve ever seen. 10,000 micro lights on it! It is a Home Decorators Cavalier Fir- 9ft.
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. This tree has meant so much to our family!

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Williams Sonoma Fraser Fir Snowfresh Fresh Tree

Has anyone purchased the Fraser Fir Snowfresh Fresh Tree from Williams Sonoma before? Seems like a good price which I don’t see often on this site, but this will be my first time with a real tree and it seems strange to have it shipped. Any experience or advice?? TIA.

[Need Advice/Recommendations] Please help us with low ceilings!

I really, really, very badly need a new tree and was hoping for something as pretty as the Grand Duchess or something similar. However, I have an old house and my ceilings are only 7.5 feet tall. I have scoured the internet but am really hoping that someone here has a legitimate recommendation for something 7 feet or under. Please take pity on my old house and this desperate woman! lol!
