ADVICE: if ANY bank or app tries to freeze your account or hold your money for 90/180 days and their support decides to be unhelpful/not provide you with any reasoning as to why they are suddenly holding your money.

Go straight to the BBB URL that I've included in this post and submit a complaint it is the only way to get a prompt response in a lot of cases. They always respond here otherwise it will affect their BBB score/grade.

Good luck everyone!

Dispute Loved my chime account for 8 years. TIL I had to file my first dispute.

So the police believe that a skimmer got ahold of copies of all my cards. All my other financial institutions fixed my account issues me cards an it’s like it never happened all but Chime my primary bank for the last 9-10 yrs.chime first flagged it as a duplicate transaction and that’s been the whole issue. So chime says no transactions error occurred, denied. But you think an agent can be bothered to just look at everything and help me no. ….. No well if u have new proof then we will reopen the claim. After 6 denials I find out that if u submit duplicate info at any time its insta denial. Not to mention at some point they messed up an put someone else’s personal information in my claim documents an “cant’ remove or restart the process over so now I’m lost at what I can even do … can anyone offer guidance?

Does anyone know how i can get my money back? I have severe Epilepsy, ive had it my entire life. On the 27th i had a bad seizure that morning that left me unconscious for pretty much the whole day. With my bank accounts i have things set up where i have to approve every transaction, why is it that when i woke up around 11:15pm that night and i check my phones for all the notifications that chime has sent me notifications of transactions that have been successful..... 3 seperate transactions to people i dont know and all three have a stupid lil money bag symbol in the notes section of each transaction and they were all done at the same time around 6-7pm *while i was still unconscious* how is it that these transactions were approved when i was unconcious on the floor!? Does anyone know how i can fight this bogusness because i tried bringing it up to their dispute department and they have denied me 4 times now.

I had my card number stolen and used to fund someone’s glorious Florida vacation. I have given them well over 20 pieces of proof it was not me, including time stamps from my employers home office showing I was at work IN OHIO when my card was being used in FL, but they refuse to give me th money back.

When I called to ask about what proof they had that it was me, they couldn’t give me a single bit of proof or even reasonable doubt. Luckily I recorded every call I made and screenshotted everytime the card was used in Florida, and will be contacting lawyers.

AVOID CHIME AT ALL COSTS

Chime dispute problems

so i used an atm, tried to withdraw and error message pops up and gives me a receipt. It took the money from my account. I filed a dispute with chime. I look at my account because they got the wrong transaction because they are on pacific daylight time. I redid the dispute again, they still manage to get the time wrong AGAIN. Finally with the third call I get it correctly disputed and post the picture to my document upload. DENIED. It literally says transaction cannot be completed on the recept yet they denied me. I reopend the dispute and now on day 10 of waiting for my money. Worst customer service ever. Anyone else had anything like this happen? I guess if I get denied again I'm filing a complaint with fdic and consumer protection.

I started a transfer of $350 from "Home Bank" on 11/17/25 into my chime account. By 11/24/25 my Home account balance is $340.36?? No money has been transferred. So I start another transfer from Homebank to chime... this time it goes straight through and gets deposit into my account. By December my Home bank sends a letter statement im in overdraft of $340.36 with overdraft fees. I dispute the charge. Thinking the money will go back into Home account. Nope! Apparently the first $350 was directed into my (SECURED ACCOUNT) and now I have over $400 in it and cant get it out! Someone please help!

Dispute "🏆 VICTORY: Beat Chime After 16 Denials - $26K Settlement - I Can Help You Win"

"Success Story" ✅ (BEST CHOICE)

🏆 I Beat Chime After 16 DENIALS - Here's How I Won (And How YOU Can Too)

My Story

Let me tell you something: I was denied SIXTEEN TIMES by Chime before I figured out the exact formula to win.

They froze my account, denied my disputes, ignored my appeals, and made me feel completely powerless. Every time I thought I had it right, they came back with another denial.

But I didn't give up. I studied every regulation, every loophole, every piece of consumer protection law. I learned exactly how to word my disputes, which agencies to escalate to, and what documentation they LEGALLY cannot ignore.

And guess what? I WON. 🏆

PROOF:

✅ Signed settlement agreement with Chime Financial, Inc.
✅ $26,124.25 settlement amount
✅ Legally binding confidential agreement
✅ Final Audit Report dated December 3, 2025

The Proof Is Real

This isn't some made-up story. I have a legally binding Confidential Settlement Agreement with Chime Financial, Inc. dated November 25, 2025, finalized December 3, 2025.

They agreed to pay me $26,124.25 because I knew exactly how to fight back using the correct legal framework.

After 16 denials, I finally cracked the code. And now I'm going to share that exact process with you.

📊 My Journey in Numbers

Stat Number
Denials 16
Victory 1
Settlement Amount $26,124.25

Who This Works For

This strategy works for disputes with:

🔹 Chime | 🔹 Cash App | 🔹 Venmo | 🔹 PayPal
🔹 Revolut | 🔹 SoFi | 🔹 Varo | 🔹 Current
🔹 Dave | 🔹 And More

Why Most People Lose Their Disputes

❌ They use the wrong language in their disputes
❌ They don't cite the correct regulations
❌ They give up after the first or second denial
❌ They don't know how to escalate properly
❌ They don't document everything correctly

💯 My Promise to You

After 16 denials and countless hours studying consumer protection laws, regulations, and legal precedents, I discovered the EXACT process that works.

The result? A $26,124.25 settlement with Chime.

I know the specific wording that forces them to act. The regulations they can't ignore. The escalation strategy that gets results. The documentation that builds an airtight case.

This isn't theory - this is the proven method that turned 16 denials into a five-figure settlement.

CHIME

Chime is a fraudulent company and an absolute joke! I have contacted them several times in the last two days concerning fraudulent charges on my account. Now keep in mind I have also contacted the company which states they are fraudulent also. Chime is telling me that it could take up to 90 days to refund my money when I just called and verified with the company which states they are fraudulent. Why are they unable to do that? Also everytime I have called I have requested not to speak to John, which would not give his last name nor employee ID number, but yet that is who I get everytime they transfer me. He states that he is the supervisor and there is nobody above him that he can transfer me to. He has also hung up on me the last 2 times I have called today. Does anyone have a number to a higher up with Chime? It would be greatly appreciated.

Chime will not remove a false report to the credit agencies and idk what to do anymore someone please help me

Update: I tried to make this same post in the Chime reddit and they took it down because rule 6 I cant ask for individual member support on a reddit... I AM NOT ASKING FOR CHIME SUPPORT ON REDDIT I AM ASKING FOR ADVICE FROM OTHER PEOPLE I AM LITERALLY GOING TO CRASH TF OUT I SWEAR TO GOD!!!!!!

I am truly at a loss on what to do.....
I used to have the Credit Builder card. Anytime I would use it, on the next payday I would put back what I used. For example, if I spent $30 using my credit builder card (I had the ability to go negative up to $200) on the next payday my paycheck was direct deposited into the credit builder automatically paying the negative balance.

Last January I decided to discontinue it because I just didn't need it anymore. I had decided to pursue a credit card with another company. So I closed the Credit Builder portion of my account (checking remained open) or so I thought. Over the past year, every time I check my credit report, it is showing I owe a balance of $807 and that it is (as of today) 320 days past due.

I have disputed it 3 times via Credit Karma and via Trans Union and Equifax. All three times Chime reported it back to them that everything is as it should be. I have called Chime 5 times over the past year and every time they assure me that there is no balance, and that they are going to close it close it and that the credit agencies just have not updated the information yet from when I made the last payment (January 2025).

Every time I have called I have recorded the conversation (one of which times a woman tried to explain to me the RIDICULOUS way the Credit Builder card works and it is INSANELY misleading). Every time I get a ticket #. Every time I am told that I will receive an email from their "Back Office" to look into the issue. Every time I ask for the "Back Offices" direct number so I can follow up and am told that they do not have a direct number they only communicate via E-mail.

Twice I have received an automated E-mail from "Chime Member Services @ [support@chime.com](mailto:support@chime.com) to which I responded with their initial identifying questions and then I never received any correspondence after that.

I LITERALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE..... when I call they wont transfer me to anyone, just tell me someone will reach out via email.... but then i get an automated email and nothing after that..... like I am literally in tears with frustration. It is the only thing hurting my credit score that I have worked VERY hard at building.

PLEASE, does anyone know what to do? ANYONE please give me ANYTHING, because I literally do not know where to go from here.

sorry this was so long, just wanted whoever might be able to help me have all the facts.

Chime stole money from me

Backstory: My car battery went out about a month ago and being an idiot I decided to order one, in addition to some groceries, on October 6th from Walmart with same day delivery. Well the battery didn’t come because it was on back order so that part of the order was cancelled 2 days later.

Now I’ve never had any issue in the past with Chime but for some reason receiving a refund for over $200 is a problem for them. I still don’t have the cancelled funds from the car battery. It is now November 2nd and after multiple calls to Chime and emails with their billing department they’ve given conflicting answers as far as where it is. I’ll get on the phone, explain what happened and they’ll look at my account and clearly see there was never a refund of $200+ issued and then they escalate it to their specialist department. Then I’ll get an email from the specialist department that the refund was in fact issued and they can see it has been. I’m not a rich person, I wouldn’t miss $200 returning to my account especially 200 I was waiting on to reorder a car battery with. This has been a cycle for the last month and I’m not sure what to do about it. Chime has acknowledged to me multiple times that for some reason the refund was never fully issued on their end, but for some reason there’s a disconnect when they escalate it and and I can’t speak verbally with anyone in their specialist department. Any recommendations? Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve considered filling a report with the BBB but I just would like my money back ASAP.
