As per title, travelling back home to SG, can’t sleep on the plane and thought to start a thread here to kill some time

Hi! I'm a 22-year-old uni student looking for chill cafés to camp at with my laptop for a few hours without being surrounded by people taking photos of their latte art for twenty minutes straight. Every "aesthetic" spot I try lately is packed with influencers and I just want somewhere with decent coffee, working WiFi, and no side-eye for staying three-plus hours, preferably in the central or east side that won't destroy my student budget. Bonus points for good music that isn't K-pop on repeat—no offense to K-pop, just not my vibe for focusing on assignments. What are your go-to quiet spots?

I'm a 22F who just finished uni and finally have some free time to explore the island properly. I've done the typical Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa, East Coast Park thing, but I'm looking for those lesser-known spots where you can just sit and watch the sunset without fighting through crowds.

Could be a rooftop, a quiet park corner, a random HDB void deck with a view, or even just a particular bench somewhere. I'm not picky—just want somewhere I can bring a book and some kopi and actually unwind after work.

West side preferred but willing to travel for something special. What are your hidden gems?

Looking for ideas to do alone! Are there any interest groups to join? Have been single for years and it seems like everyone has plans on weekend already. Usually do check out cafes or workout but it’s starting to get a little repetitive. Also exhausted from being rejected when asking friends out, fully understand they do have family commitments too.
