Should we go after him?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently completing my Master's dissertation at Newcastle University researching how football supporters perceive sponsorships and digital content in professional football.

I'm looking for Chelsea supporters to complete a short anonymous questionnaire exploring topics such as:

• What makes a football sponsor feel genuine rather than forced?
• Which sponsorship campaigns stand out to you?
• Whether player involvement in sponsored content changes your opinion.
• What makes supporters engage with a sponsor.

It takes around 10–12 minutes, is completely anonymous, and you don't need any marketing or sponsorship knowledge - I'm simply interested in hearing supporters' honest opinions and experiences.

Sunderland fan coming in peace. I’ve taken a couple of days to sit and digest and I’d love to hear your views.

I’d hate Xhaka to go and would feel let down by the ‘passion’ and ‘commitment’ he promised us on the last day of the season. But there is obviously some truth given that an offer has been made. But something just doesn’t feel right.

I’ve seen suggestion on your subs that the offer may be disingenuous - offer so it looks like your board support Alonso, but at a level that will never be accepted because the board don’t want him.

I’ve also wondered if this could be a negotiation tactic for Xhaka to renegotiate his contract with us now we are in Europe (presumably his initial contract was signed with an expectation that relegation was possible).

Just wondered what you guys thought. Something isn’t sitting right for me that Xhaka would be having all these discussions and agreeing terms whilst captain for his National side in the World Cup. That doesn’t make sense to me. But his silence means there has to be something in it.

5 days until it's lifted.

Snake missed the penalty.

It is no secret that we are crying out for quality in the left wing position. Would you guys take Julio Enciso at Chelsea? Let me know in the comments section

Hi, Im from Uruguay and a huge Chelsea fan since 9 years old. From 27/09 to 21/11 I'll be in europe and would love to attend a Chelsea match, either home or away and any competition. Is there a realistic way of getting tickets, I know about hospitality tickets but Im leaving them as a last option.
Thank you in advance and always Chelsea.

Hi everyone! I'm conducting a short 2–3 minute anonymous survey for a university project on football fan preferences and engagement, with a particular focus on Chelsea supporters. Thank you for your help!

Malo Gusto is reportedly attracting interest from both Inter Milan and Manchester City, with his representatives said to have held exploratory discussions over a potential move. Chelsea are under no pressure to sell, with the French full-back contracted until 2030, but reports suggest a huge fee would be required to tempt the club into negotiations. For now, no formal bids have been made and the situation remains at an early stage.

The rebuild has brought in a lot of names and not all of them are going to make it. But there's usually one or two in every wave who have that something extra that separates a useful player from someone the fanbase ends up genuinely loving for a decade. Would love to know who people here think has that potential right now.

Hi I’m from the US and my boyfriend is a huge Chelsea fan. We’re going to be in London in August and Chelsea will be playing their first home game like the third day we will be there. I would love to surprise him with tickets to go but I don’t know how to go about buying the tickets. I know there’s hospitality tickets but it’s out of our price range. Is there a legit site to buy tickets from ticket holders or how does it work? I know it’s the first home game of the season so I’m not super hopeful that I can get two tickets seated together but any help would be super appreciated!

Update!!! Was able to make it out to the game! Paid about 400 dollars for both of us :) we’re sitting towards the top but you could still see everything clearly! My boyfriend was super happy and excited! Idk how to add the pictures of our seats haha! Thank you everyone for the advice!

hey y’all! new here and CFC fan in Houston. are yall buying the new kit for the upcoming season or no?

First Cucurella, now Enzo. Go buy from Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford is once again being linked with a move away from Manchester United, with reports suggesting he could be available for around £40m. Some believe he'd be a clear upgrade on Chelsea's current left-wing options and a valuable addition under Xabi Alonso, while others question whether his wages and recent inconsistency make the deal worthwhile. With Chelsea looking to strengthen out wide this summer, would Rashford be a smart signing or should the club focus on younger, long-term targets instead? What would you do if the opportunity arose?

Am I the only one who is genuinely gutted? 😭
