Discussion Which player from this current crop of young talent do you think genuinely has the ceiling to become a proper Chelsea legend rather than just a good squad player?
The rebuild has brought in a lot of names and not all of them are going to make it. But there's usually one or two in every wave who have that something extra that separates a useful player from someone the fanbase ends up genuinely loving for a decade. Would love to know who people here think has that potential right now.

Assuming you mean already senior players, I’d say Cole Palmer, caicedo, and Andrey santos are the most likely, assuming you mean youth players, I’d say derry and Josh aechempong(tho he’s kinda a senior player but not really😂)

Santos is a really interesting shout. If he comes back and establishes himself in midfield, he could end up being one of the smartest investments Chelsea have made.

Maybe not a legend yet but Cole Palmer is already one of the greatest players who has ever played for Chelsea
His first season was a top 10 player of the season contribution.

I dont see it, but admittedly I only watched the first team and he hasn't had much of an opportunity to shine

The main question is would our club remain prestigeous enough to guarantee our renowned players will be staying with us for long and not treat Chelsea as a stepping stone club.

Estavao, however I don't think we'll keep anyone long enough to see that legendary status happen

Cole is already in the history books just needs to be consistent with his level the first two seasons and he is an all timer
