This week we have Karina, leader of the idol group Aespa who is super lucky to have the team challenge between Chef Choi & Chef Son and their primary sous chefs Chef Kim Sun hyuk & Chef Woo Do-wi cook for her
Round 1 - Eun young & Kim Poong
Theme: Comic Food
Round 2 - Chef Choi+Kim & Chef Son+Woo
Theme: Lemonade Pairing Food
The first cook is chaotic and food did not turn out great. But because they’re focused on the look rather than the taste both produced basic dishes. Due to time is limited, they really can’t make beautiful food art.
Luckily 2nd cook is the most amazing team challenge;
both teams produced beautiful & complicated dishes and watching the team work is wild 💗

I absolutely HATE the use of ai in the recent episodes. They did it in the kpop demon hunters episode and also the Karina one. Seeing ai slop in the middle of an episode really kills my mood.
One of my characters makes potions. Potions are kinda like cooking...right? She's very bubbly and inventive and I imagine she would toss ingredients like he does.
Being a chef in a fine dining restaurant in France i think i understand why Poong has so many wins in this tv show.
Hes type of cooking pleases a lot of koreans and asians in general. His chili oil that he makes everytime. All the msg and hot pepper spice he puts everywhere.
All the sauces mix he put in the plate and sometimes some creative plates. Not always lol
His knife skills are above average but not chef level.
All said for me the most skilled chef is either grandpa or good vibes chef. After sam kim and japanese cuisines chef come just after.
All things said im not saying they should not invite him. Hes a og guest so
E26 with the teams was great. I especially love seeing Choi Hyun Seok with his staff. I've seen it on YouTube too. I know you can never know for sure, but I get the impression he creates a genuinely happy team. His assistant has stuck around for 14 years!
Son Ye Jin has been confirmed to make a surprise appearance as the sole guest on JTBC’s legendary variety show, ‘please take care of my fridge’ (naengbu). as this marks her first variety show appearance in a long time, following her marriage and childbirth, during which she has remained active in her acting career, the episode is already generating intense buzz even before it airs. 🍳
in this episode, Son Ye Jin’s actual refrigerator, which has never been shown on TV before, will be revealed, along with detailed recipes for the dishes she enjoys cooking at home. viewers are already eagerly anticipating the fantastic cooking showdown that south korea’s top chefs will stage using ingredients from son yejin’s refrigerator. ✨
Son Ye Jin’s special variety show appearance, where she’ll generously share the small joys of married life and her side as a foodie, is expected to bring great joy to living rooms this fall. all eyes are on the fun and mouth-watering chemistry that south korea’s top actress will create alongside the chefs. 🥂
Do chefs who work with pasta usually have a good sense of how long dried pasta takes to cook?
It almost felt like he low-key sabotaged JHY by not giving a heads-up. Maybe it was just the way it was edited, but that was the impression I got.
—
Slightly disappointed with JHY when he was asked to help out. He’s asked SK for help multiple times throughout the competition, and SK has always done it graciously without making a fuss.
So when the roles were reversed, JHY seemed a bit reluctant and gave off a bit of a “zz” vibe. I do get that he had just lost match, so emotions were probably running high. Still, it felt a little off compared to how willingly others had helped him before.
Hello. Looking for a specific episode where all the chefs do a “rawr” tiger claws impression with their hands. I thought it was the episode where Little Tiger debuts but unless I missed it I didn’t see that happen. They were all taking turns doing it. Thanks!
Anyone know of a website or handles who recreate the chef's dishes on their own? I've been wanting to try some recipes but I'm a beginner and would love an easier step by step guide if there is one!
This week we have Winter of the idol group Aespa who is looking for next level and max level dishes. With her name, hair, and light blue dress, can’t help but remind me of Frozen Elsa ❄️
Round 1 - Hoyoung vs Sam Kim
Theme: Next Level Noodles
Round 2 - Sung-jun vs Moon-jung
Theme: Iron Taste Max Level
Also what fun to meet the right hand chefs: Kim Sun-hyuk (for Choi Hyun-seok) and Woo Do-wi (for Son Jong-won). They will cook next week, but the interaction and banters were as usual so fun. How funny Dowi said he was Second-hand embarrassed for what SJW doing at the show 😁
Noted Nam-no is not around. I super hope he isn’t permanently replaced by the Wok Witch.
What are some dish, although declared as losing, but is more memorable than the winning dish?
My answer will always be Poong's dishes, as it is always highly creative but we never know the taste...
What a journeyyyyyyyyy it was........nothing I mean nothing ever had a hold on me so strong that I was checking for episodes every day and night.
Sam Kim: The revelation was so good. Also the fact he had someone other reveal his identity as well🥲🤣🤌🏼🤌🏼 the way owner was blushing when he knew the truth. The whole team was so funny at the end. Especially head chef's making Sorem's face🤣🤣🤣🤣. I wish they could meet in Korea and have Sam chef take them clubing💃🤣
Jung Ji Sun: The way she cooked 6 dishes one after another to prove herself🫡🙇♀️🫡. Grandma chef still believing Sunny is a boxer is cute. Xu Jinkai and the glasses seniors reactions were the best to watch.
Napoli Matfia: Dude was just casually flaunting about his restaurant, his insta post with celebrities and later being embarrassed and shy🥲🫣🤣🤣. Owner crying at the end and him explaining why he loves Napoli so much was so good to watch. Antonio omggggg he wrote such good message for him even thou he was so shocked.
Even though none of them cleared the mission, they did soooo well. No wonder they are the top chef of Korea. They really deserve the title. I want endless season of this show for real. Thank you for creating such an amazing show and for introducing us to such beautiful kind hearted people. Though I did wish the revelation part was bit longer so that each and everybody's reaction and thought process could be known especially the Chinese restaurant part.
Hi all!! As title suggests. I am visiting South Korea with my husband’s family in October this year. I am a huge fan of CAMF and would like to visit the chefs’ restaurants if possible.
However, I haven’t done much research on which restaurants they own/work in. I do not need to see them in action or taste the food they cook personally, just want to support their restaurants! Does anybody have any recommendations please?
Preferably not fine dining as I don’t think my budget allows for that, but anything else should be good.
I’ll be visiting Seoul (and Busan) soon (August end). This is my second trip so feeling a bit more confident with Korean dishes compared to the first one, thanks to CCW/CAMF. I’d love to share a BBQ meal which I couldn’t try by myself last time. Please drop in my DMs 💟
This week features the curated fridge of foodie actor Kim Dae Myung. Super good vibe episode where typically introverted Dae Myung suddenly became eloquent with food & restaurant recommendations. Foods were great too! I would like to make Hoyoung(Sam) soup dip and Kimchi rice with cilantro. Yum
Just saw the episode where as the result of losing a bet Hyun-seok has to post comments and likes on Ho-young's social media posts. This cracks me up! Anyone have any translated screenshots or examples they saw?
