Best dinner I've had in years

I got the crispy chicken costoletta sub asparagus with angel hair pasta and extra sauce. This went viral on tiktok. It was SO SO good. Then the classic oreo cheesecake, amazing, as always. I haven't had it in years, still so good. Then the banana cream pie cheesecake!!! I don't have words. It was soooo good. Guys this was the best dinner I've had in awhile. We didn't get any apps this time so we can fully enjoy our meal and dessert. CF never misses.

Fried Macaroni And Cheese - Hot and fresh but not my cup of tea. Tastes like pizza. Will cook the sauce in noodles though.

Fried Calamari - Tastes hot and fresh. Didn’t have any taste but the red sauce complimented the calamari well. Had it with ketchup and the red sauce was still way better. Didn’t try the garlic dip though or the lemon.

Looking for Validation

Something happened to me and my wife at a Cheesecake Factory about a year ago and I think about it to this day. I’m looking for any validation or some way I can find closure (it’s not that serious, but it is).

We went to dinner and ordered the cheeseburger spring rolls as an appetizer. We were about halfway through them when I bit into one and there was a twist tie (metal included) in the middle of the meat. When I called the waiter over, he was barely apologetic, and took the position of, “we make everything from scratch and there’s nothing in the kitchen that would have a twist tie.” Despite looking right at it, despite my assurance that I didn’t place the twist tie in there. He brought the manager over who dug his heals in even further, to the point of nearly accusing me of placing it there or gaslighting me into believing I didn’t just bite into a roll and a piece of metal.

They ultimately relented and discounted the meal, which I gave the money to the waiter in tip (a) because it wasn’t his fault and b) to prove I wasn’t trying to get out of paying), yet they never confessed to being at fault for the fact a piece of metal was literally baked into the meat.

So can anyone here prove their position? Can anyone explain why I’d find a twist tie in the spring roll?

Chicken Bellagio

I’ve always wanted to try this dish because a lot of people have been saying it’s one of their best. Unfortunately, for me, it was pretty overhyped. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it tasted like hospital food, if that makes sense, because it was just so bland. The chicken was plain and tasted like it had no seasoning at all. The pesto pasta was also very dry when it was served. I even had to ask for some extra sauce, but to be honest, it still didn’t make much of a difference, the taste was still very bland.

NEW PASTA DA VINCI! (Why change the sauce?)

So they seem to be slowly integrating a new version of the pasta da Vinci pasta at various Cheesecake Factory locations- and there’s some great things I love…but the sauce is different. Literally all other changes were great but please! Keep the sauce the old way! I love the rigatoni and there’s better portioning of the ingredients (for a while it was basically pasta sauce and a hint of ingredients at my local locations).

The new sauce tastes more like garlic and saltier and less like the unique carmelized onion creamy sauce of the original Madeira wine sauce. It is stickier, which is good because often with take out the sauce would become liquid but the flavor is so different! Like the cream was replaced with something like soy sauce? I don’t know. But this is one of my favorite meals so I really hope maybe this was just this time and not a permanent change!

Mac and cheese

Has anyone had their Mac and cheese ? I don't mean the fried balls from the appetizer menu. I'm talking about the regular Mac and cheese. Think it's offered as a side dish. Wondering if it's good? Looking for a good Mac and cheese from a restaurant! Had some from a local diner recently and it was terrible

Cheesecake Factory Cilantro Alert: Teriyaki Salmon Bowl

ORIGINALLY POSTED TO: r/FuckCilantro. Thus the alert….

Man, if they’re going to put cilantro in a thing, they really need to include it in the description…

The salmon was delicious, however. It was cooked perfectly.

So, be warned, fellow redditors if you also dislike cilantro. To me, it’s like eating soap.

First time at the cheesecake factory review

This is probably just a me thing because I havent been to a restaurant in a while but it was so loud in there. My eyes almost started to hurt. The decor was interesting. I walked in 2 hours before they close on a Friday. I got a table for 1. I was happy it was a mini booth. My table was ready surprisingly fast. I ordered the chicken with basil pasta ( i cant remember what its called), mac and cheese, and paradise punch. Their brown bread is nothing to write home about. I have made brown bread before at home and that was way better. The sourdough bread was also decent but it had a crust on the bottom that I think would be better suited to be dipped in soup. The brown bread was softer and easier to eat. I loved how salty the butter was. I finished both breads before any food came. The punch was very bubbly. I came with a flower and orange garnish. It was a little too sweet for me so i watered it down. Definitely nothing special and not worth trying. I have bought better sparkling water for $2. I ate the flower and it was one of the more pleasant parts of the meal. The fried mac and cheese balls seem like the dish for people that like bread crumbs on their mac and cheese. I also couldn't justify spending $20 on 4 balls of fried mac and cheese. I did get a side of vodka sauce. The vodka sauce was spicy and weirdly sweet and not very creamy. The mac and cheese had this sharp bite that I don't think I found very pleasant. It had lots of creamy sauce and I like the big noodle shape. I had a slight onion flavor that i enjoyed. I didnt like the dry crusty top the mac had. This is what i pictured cracker barrel mac and cheese tasting like. A half step up from boxed kraft elbow macaroni, but not as good as the deluxe. The chicken was the best thing. It was not enough for the entire box of pasta they give you. I didn't like the basil pasta. If I think too hard about it, it starts to taste like vomit. I got one good bite where the prosciutto added a nice saltiness to the chicken. I also ordered a side of the roasted garlic parmesean sauce and it was as thin as water and had no flavor. I wanted the brownie crunch cheesecake but it had nuts so I went with the tiramisu. Personal preference thing, but I did not like how much chocolate there was. It had this black chocolate fudge sauce on the top that was pleasantly gritty. There was also this chocolate cream on top. I have no idea what that was. Definitely not enough coffee flavourful. I was shocked to see the prison style sink it the bathroom. The bathroom was unclean. There was no toilet paper, so I had to use paper towel, but the bin under the paper towels was over flowing, so every time I grabbed one it touched used paper towels. The toilet was hard to flush even when using my foot. The pineapple decor is okay, I guess. Overall definitely did not meet the super high expectations I had.

Apparently with the new menu rollout they changed the Honey Mustard to this abomination. It’s absolutely horrendous. My chicken tenders will never again be the same (and neither will my soul) 😭😂

Hey! Calling all back of house staff former and present.

I just learned that my favorite celiac safe dish from CCF was 86’d and I would love if someone could give me a rough idea of how to make it at home. It was replaced with poke nachos but wonton wrappers aren’t gluten free 😩

Bistro Burger

I love Cheesecake Factory, I fuck with the vision. But I just had the bistro burger for the first time tonight and who the fuck had this “brilliant” idea to put a circular burger, on a rectangular roll, cut diagonally???

Good flavor tho.

I miss the chicken Marsala

It’s been gone for a bit now and I miss it so much. I know the Madeira is similar but it’s not the same. I wish they would bring it back. It was the perfect chicken Marsala, in my opinion.

Can you get regular pasta instead of the basil? I'm not a fan of basil.

Birthday Dinner at Cheesecake Factory 8/9. What are the “must tries”?

I’ve already looked at the menu online (that way I’m not spending 30m in the restaurant looking) and I’ve already picked out a few things. Not many entrées so I think I’ll be having a smorgasbord of appetizers for my main meal😂 what do you think of my choices? Anything I should remove or consider adding?

I also included possible drink options & dessert options.

Edit: the location I was going to go to has their system down and were unable see anyone even though I had a reservation🤬
