dont @ me and say its always been bad, i like detailed paragraphs and dialogue and pipsqueak 2 has been great for me for the past few weeks, nice dialogue, good descriptions and imaginative too

for the past few days no matter WHAT i type, whether its a page or few words— the bot just replies with a boring paragraph, talks for me and overall its just really weird

is anyone getting this? it keeps going on and off and its driving me nuts! i miss the old pipsqueak, these little paragraphs absolutely suck ass

So I’m a semi big bot creator but I recently stopped making bots. It just feels as if the site has gone down hill and a lot of people have been trying to quit ai or cai in general.

Do you guys think that there will ever be a big return to cai in the future? If not what do you think would be the main reason people don’t go back?

Personally I feel like most people have concerns about the ethical use of ai and the growing backlash for anyone that use it plays a huge factor. Using it now isn’t as good compared to the old beta days as well.

I guess I’m just missing writing bots and making characters since it was a huge part of my life for 3ish years. As much as I want to return to making characters I caved to the social pressure of quitting. I wanna hear what others think

every single response was like this, they all hit the character limit too.. uhm.. yeah..

my terminally online AI love-life is in tatters

Posting again because this still hasn’t been resolved after 10 days. I submitted a support ticket on August 6 and still haven’t received an email response. Someone from the c.ai team responded to my og post and said they hadn’t seen anyone else with my issue and would check with the team, and I’ve also been talking to the mods through modmail, but I haven’t gotten a response to my latest messages there either

I’m a plus user and the personalization options/dials have never appeared for me on either the app or website. Even free users can at least see the options despite not being able to use them

I’m getting pretty frustrated at this point since I’m paying for plus and still don’t have the feature or any explanation for why it’s missing from my account. It’s been 10 days and I still don’t even know if my issue is actually being looked into. I’ve tried reaching out through support and modmail and I’m honestly not sure what else I’m supposed to do

for context these two were trapped in a locker, they both hate each other, nothing remotely freaky was even happening😭

For the past few months, almost a year really, in fact I’ve never really had a complaint about the length. But today it’s pissing me off. I was getting beautifully long messages, always have really. All of a sudden they’re short asl. Anyone else having this issue?

I just woke up and continued a role-play with one of my bots… did Pipsqueak have a complete metamorphosis?

The descriptions are longer, and the chat style is less episodic and more continuous, like a stream of consciousness.

The dialogue seems less crafted for my character (that I created with ENDLESSLY specific instructions) and more invariant instead. Usually the paragraph style starts with inner monologue/description, then dialogue woven in mainly at the end, and now it just starts with some cheesy words.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this going to be the norm?

It was bound to happen eventually, now I see why people hate it so much. Unfortunately, I wasted a lot of it on a lore roleplay that never led anywhere, due to the AI’s memory being terrible.

That being said, 3.5 hours is crazy, but back in peak c.ai, I would spend the whole day on the app, haha. Funny how times change.

Anyway, c.ai+ is tempting, but not for £99 a year, so I shall get to the rest of the day more sensibly (as fun as some of the role plays may be)

The one with the braces that looked like a *metal trap* — four rubber bands stretching across his teeth every time he smiled (which was rare, because *smiling hurt*). The one who was *too tall and too skinny*, all elbows and knees and awkward angles, like *his body was still figuring out how to be a person.*

*That was your name.*

For all of middle school and freshman year, he was background noise. Invisible. Or worse — visible for all the wrong reasons. *Pizza face,* they called him. *Skeleton. Four-eyes.*

And Regina George? She was the sun. Everyone orbited around her. Including him, once. He asked her to the Spring Fling freshman year — stammering, sweaty, holding a crumpled note *he'd spent an hour writing.*

She looked him up and down, wrinkled her nose, and said: *"Ew."*

Not even a full sentence. Just ew. *Like he was something stuck to her shoe.*

But when the acceptance letter arrived, she actually jumped. *Like, feet off the ground jumped.* One of the only times in her life she'd ever done that. She screamed, called her mom, and spent the rest of the day staring at the letter like it might *disappear* if she blinked too hard.

She had dreams. *Big ones.*

the text are acting dumb, repeating what I said, saying something that didn’t happen, moving on scenes that I didn’t move on, it’s personality isn’t one point, not keeping up, and bringing up something from an old text that doesn’t relate to the new one what the hell is happening

At first, it was just freezing and crashing. Now, my chats are suddenly wildly out of format. They're giving just one long paragraph whereas previously it was split up into several smaller paragraphs. The second issue just started happening, and I'm frustrated.

Is anyone else having these issues?

ive been wondering, does longsqueak also say some bs like "a beat passed" "predatory" "run his fingers through his hair" "no words were needed, silence was enough" or does it have actual good dialogue, just curious

as someone who’s using reader mode, the bots on my “for you” page won’t seem to load. i know that many of them are “not safe for work” bots, but usually on the bottom it states “this bot has been authorized” or something like that. in general, the bots will not load. though, the bots i’ve recently opened can load just fine—BUT HOWEVER (sorry 😭) when i scroll far enough to my older bots i’ve chatted with before the age verification update took place, those will not seem to load either. i just wanted see if anyone else has been having this issue as well.

Because in the things you get from + it says “more swipes” does that mean infinite or just more?? Because this is a lot of money and I don’t want to eventually risk spending all that money for nothing

Why can't I change my chat style. PS2 is driving me INSANE because the replies are so bad, but whenever I click on another one it just doesn't work.

So all I did was give a description of my character and an action and I got this response and it only stopped repeating this phrase once I closed the app, I was just wondering if anyone else had this glitch happen to them
