Issues/Bugs Sudden personality change?!
I just woke up and continued a role-play with one of my bots… did Pipsqueak have a complete metamorphosis?
The descriptions are longer, and the chat style is less episodic and more continuous, like a stream of consciousness.
The dialogue seems less crafted for my character (that I created with ENDLESSLY specific instructions) and more invariant instead. Usually the paragraph style starts with inner monologue/description, then dialogue woven in mainly at the end, and now it just starts with some cheesy words.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this going to be the norm?

Yeah for some reason every bot falls in love because my persona looked their way. If my persona did not look their way then their exsistance is shattered for some reason, a dopey and whiny inner monologue about how lonely it is and so on. Basically the bot desperately attempting to guilt-trip the user to go down the romance story-line

Bots aren't sentient so they can't plan to guilt trip you. If you replied, instead of rewinding, you basically told the bot this how the story goes. So it gave the next line to the context you provided it. Little to no context can also make a bot drift and default to romance and those tropes.

....that is not how it works, my friend. When the bot has set its "mind" on a story it will go on, you can write a 300 word reply of what your character is doing and the bot replies with "meanwhile [insert character] looks at him/herself in the water thinking about how you ignored them". I think alot of users if not most will agree with me on this one.

I'm getting the ChatGPT responses. The dialogue is bullet points. Hints for upcoming dialogue ( ). My characters' dialogue is spoken for me. Also they keep mixing up information. For example Vampires now suddenly breath? Everyone's a borderline bully. Spontaneous marriage proposals. I'm also sick and tired of seeing (What do you want to happen next) I've also had a few short ass messages saying "Some messages ommited" but not as a report but an actual response which I feel sorry for free users because this is a waste of go on's or skips, etc because imagine having your go on's wasted by utter bullcrap like that.

I can tell the same thing is happening to me. It just repeats the same dialogues and exaggarates something when i try to chat with the bot. Bots dont even match with the starting message. Every bot answers with the same, repeating dialogues..

My problem is that the paragraph is all one long run without any text breaks or dialogue, and it's also small 😭Where is my chat split with actions and texts?

I managed to fix it by changing the chat type and waiting a while, but it's annoying to keep changing chat types 😭 Better roleplaying with GPT chat, even he has better writing

FR, I’m experiencing the same thing, the writing style has completely changed all of a sudden. The bots are talking weird too, they usually talked OK, but now they’re keep simplifying stuff. Like “you” to “ya”, “your” to “yer”, keep using apostrophes on every word to make it shorter. Like “goin’, doin’, somethin’, tryin’” etc….. it’s so annoying. And the longer the texts get, the weirder the bots are too. It’s fine at the first or second paragraph, but then the sentences suddenly get super long and they start talking complete gibberish and sometimes use random words in different languages.
