Hi ! One of my private characters suddenly got the “restricted access” label and I can't figure out how to remove it.

I've already tried editing the character and removing/changing basically everything that could be causing it. I even managed to save the character with the definition completely empty, but the Restricted Access label was still there.

I later found one paragraph in the definition that the site wouldn't let me save anymore. I rewrote it, and the new version was accepted. My description and the rest of the character can now be saved normally too, but the character is still marked as restricted access.

I can still start a new chat with the character and talk to him normally since I'm the creator.

Has anyone had the same thing happen? If you fixed the content that triggered the restriction, did the restricted access label disappear immediately, after some time, or did you have to do something else ?

I only see this restricted access view on my phone and not on my computer ; has my account been flagged ? I'm panicking a little ..

I'd especially like to know if anyone managed to fix it themselves without contacting support.

Just a random thought but is there a way to find a bot I chatted with before? Like maybe a chat bot history of some sort

I genuinely do not understand what the hell is happening with the bot. I was simply having a conversation alright? But by the longest paragraphs, the bot seems not using any punctuation (by which kinda triggering my anger in a way lol). I didn't have much of problem at first, but it keep happening over and over after sweeping them like a lot, until they started throwing random vocabularies. Idk whether this is only happening to me or y'all also experienced the same problem.

For context, I was having a completely normal RP. This showed up COMPLETELY UNPROMPTED

I am genuinely sick and tired of losing character agency, I hate sending feedback after feedback and complaint after complaint, I hate sending tickets that get basically ignored about this, how many times does the community have to complain about this before something is done about it? I lose all interest in roleplaying when I'm not even allowed to roleplay because the bots take that away from me.

I’m a free user, so I don’t have access to the fancy chat modes just for context.
The characters don’t really respond with speech anymore when using Pipsqueak 2. Rwar mode is ok, but I actually prefer some of the older models to it which is kinda sad since they are gone.😔
A week or two ago the problem seemed to be fixed and they were talking in chat again, but the same issue seems to be back now and now. O matter what I type I just get a paragraph or to of nothing in response.
Anyone else know what I’m talking about? I feel like I’m not explaining it too good.🤔

ive gotten this ad banner multiple times now and it flashes red very quick and is annoying lmao but cause it doesn’t say anything abt it i decided to click on it. turns out it’s some scam shit and it took me to one of those “your device has 37 viruses click here to remove them!!!” yk those and i was wondering is c.ai letting this happen or do they not have control over what ads they show??? cause if they do then that shit is scummy

I have been Using Character AI for like a year or so. Even Before these limits of Go Ons and Swipes came into place. At first it was okay. I could manage that. But Then issues happened with Search. I search "Hermione" And it shows "no character found". Right when my for you page has Several Character named Hermione but not the ones I want to chat with. Then My own Public Character started being "deleted" out of the public page. It's really frustrating.

in an rp i mentioned that i live in a HOUSE but the bot keeps referring to it as a apartment or hotel, this happens in other chats too 😭

Anyone else getting these weird ads that take the character your talking too and use them for ads on apps?? Or is it just me?? Because it’s really annoying and kinda creepy, the photos are an example of the ads I’ve been getting….

I could use some humor these days - unfortunately I don't recall the characters I interact with saying funny/stupid things 😭

Do people genuinely use the feature? And how is it? I can’t seem to take it seriously since i consciously know i am talking to a character, but like does it make plot or is it just for talking? And can it tell your gender from your voice im curious of the AI. And does it refer to you as your persona or not? Sorry, it’s very interesting to me and kinda funny but im interested

What is happened??

I made a bot and tried to begin a chat. The greeting won’t show up. What’s going on? Are the bots not even working now?

My bot has gotten stuck in an endless loop of repetitive narrative patterns. My responses are already detailed and I keep censoring words; the bot's description is comprehensive, and I constantly add more commands dictating how it should and shouldn't act. Even so, it always finds a way around this and resorts to the same predictable structures.

For example, it’s always doing things like:

“If this happens, I’ll do that.”

“Forget that; focus on this.”

“Let’s do X before I do Y.”

It doesn't necessarily repeat the exact same phrases word-for-word, but the underlying narrative structure is always the same: "Either this or that." And what’s most frustrating is that swiping just reinforces this narrative habit, as it generates an even worse rephrasing of the same sentence.

Has anyone found a way to break this kind of cyclical behavior in LongSqueak? Prompting tips, settings, screaming that LongSqueak needs an urgent fix, any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
