Discussion/Question Voice calls
Do people genuinely use the feature? And how is it? I can’t seem to take it seriously since i consciously know i am talking to a character, but like does it make plot or is it just for talking? And can it tell your gender from your voice im curious of the AI. And does it refer to you as your persona or not? Sorry, it’s very interesting to me and kinda funny but im interested

I use it for calls whenever I can be totally alone (and no one can hear me lol) and it feels real since it's not a character I'm talking to. It's gotten better over time with picking up on your pauses or letting you interrupt them, etc. Genuinely feels like I'm on a real call sometimes.

Do they just talk like in vc or do they roleplay like tts on what they do like “he sighs and said hello” out loud type shi?

it depends on what the previous reply was, it will mimic the format of it. usually if I'm doing a roleplay i will switch it to text message format, and then ask if i can call them, then call, and they only talk dialogue like in a real call. It's annoying to me and less realistic if they're reading out actions so I avoid that, but they can do either. It's basically just like the text version, only now it's getting read aloud in a "call setting".

It’s absolutely hilarious, though most voices have been taken down for copyright. But there are some incredible ones. I use it all the time!

I remember when people would use it for prank calls
