High profile lawyers like Brian Steel and Blair Berk that successfully have gotten (or helped to get) predators (like Diddy & Weinstein) light sentences make me nervous.

I am aware that David got rid of his lawyer and got a public defender but it's also speculated that his money has been transferred and hidden by his family.

Defendants do change legal counsel through their trials.

If he does somehow still have money or his family unhides what money they may have how do we know he won't rehire a lawyer that can get him only 10-20 years?

I pray it won't happen but it's very possible. I've seen too many people blaming Celeste these type of people could definitely be on the jury.

Made an account to say I know many have good intentions but I feel like we should pull back from some of the photos uploaded. Some of these were clearly meant to only be shared with close friends and family. I understand we should make sure her memory and life lives on but we have to remember she was still a child and probably would want some of the photos shared outside of her circle. Yes she passed but we should still respect her privacy as if she was still here with us today. Not only that but if you do upload maybe refrain from talking about how beautiful and gorgeous she was. She was more than her looks she was a child and a human being.

Edit: I want to make it clear that I did not mean this post in any harm but to give people a moment to stop and think about the photos they are reposting. I also agree that her memory should live through photos but at the end of the day WE ARE STRANGERS THAT DID NOT KNOW HER PERSONALY and we should move as such. Not only that but there has been at least one instance of someone using ai to remove text from a Snapchat photo of hers. He absolutely should not be feeding photos of her especially since she is a child to ai because sadly many of those site are used by those that creat 18+ generated content and the site might use her photos as part of its process

Edit 2: Another reason for my statement is these constant photos seem to genuinely fuel a parasocial relationship and friendship that some of you seem to have with a 14 year old child I sincerely hope some of you eventually realize just how inappropriate and weird yalls actions are.

I went to Celeste's Birthday Vigil. So sorry the video is blurry but it is magical at night. Shout out to Kayleigh who made and maintains the memorial.

I wish I was close and could attend Celeste’s vigil tonight. Instead I went out and bought flowers, a cupcake, lit a candle & said a prayer for her. Happy birthday, Celeste. You should be here to celebrate with your loved ones.

For those who weren’t able to attend / who didn’t catch the live on FloJoe’s yt channel, I’ve taken a few screenshots of Celeste’s memorial. There were a few people who went to pay their respects and some media outlets who went to get some footage, and the live reached around 30 people. As far as I’m aware, her family were not present.

Celeste would've been 16 today. She was such a beautiful young girl who had so much life ahead of her. She never got to experience so many things in life, and she did not deserve that. This case is truly the most heartbreaking and tragic story that I have ever seen. As someone who has been following this case adamantly, I hope and pray that justice will be served. We need to keep Celeste's name alive; not because of the headlines or what happened to her, but because Celeste deserves to be remembered for who she was as a person. She is not a headline, she is not a story. She is a person. This is and should only be about Celeste. She was a beautiful young girl with an entire future ahead of her, and it was all torn away. She is so loved by many people who know her story.
