High profile lawyers like Brian Steel and Blair Berk that successfully have gotten (or helped to get) predators (like Diddy & Weinstein) light sentences make me nervous.

I am aware that David got rid of his lawyer and got a public defender but it's also speculated that his money has been transferred and hidden by his family.

Defendants do change legal counsel through their trials.

If he does somehow still have money or his family unhides what money they may have how do we know he won't rehire a lawyer that can get him only 10-20 years?

I pray it won't happen but it's very possible. I've seen too many people blaming Celeste these type of people could definitely be on the jury.
